FWB gunsmith
Has anyone heard of James Hixon of Small Guys Gunsmith. My daughter just shipped her 2602 to him for chamber and extractor fixes. I don't know him so I hope someone here can tell me about him. Thanks.

Re: Remington 541x is it sufficient enough to compete in 4-H
Just a thought since you already have the Savage (model FVT?) might be PDC custom's rimfire stock/chassis. Craig has supplied it to many 4-H shooters for competition. You would need to ask him about the results in competition. He produces a very good butt plate/hook assembly for them as well. The ho...

Re: Dream Gun Cabinet
Hands down anything from CZ Custom! My personal choice was SP-01 Shadow Custom Target a few years ago. Best trigger anyone who's tried it has ever shot. They make some really nice compacts too!

https://www.krale-schietsport.nl/en/tesro-rs100-pro.html I just noticed this topic and the references to Krale. You might want to check out the rifle in the above link. They are unkown here but the price can't be beat for a beginner precision rifle. Just a thought. P.S. There is factory support in C...

Tec-hro Fanatic experience?
I was wondering if anyone here has or knows anyone with experience with the "Fanatic" stock. It seems to be very adjustable and my daughter is very petite so I was wondering if it is getting any use in 3P?
Thanks as usual!

Re: Length of pull FWB 2602?
Hello, my 2602 has a minimum LOP, face of trigger to face of buttplate of 11-1/2". My rifle has been a delight to shoot since I bought it new in 2003. Let me know if you need any more info...I am very familiar with this rifle and have competed with good success using it. Thank you very much!! ...

Length of pull FWB 2602?
As the title says I am trying to find out what the minimum LOP is on the 2602 Supermatch. I am trying to fit it to my daughter and if anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

Re: Pellets sticking in trap
What's the big deal? I've been using one that I bought from Don Nygord 20± years ago. I'm pretty sure it's the same item. When the back plate got a little rough pellets started sticking, and then - lead being lead - later shots mold themselves to the ones already there and build up a mound of lead....

Pellets sticking in trap
I have been shooting an AP with sub par velocity for a year (my first one) and finally convinced the CEO to let me spring for a used "KITE" at Perry WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! I have only had it for a few days but for me it is a dream come true except that I have a question on it's velocity. I ...

Re: Champion shooter supply
I have been doing business with Carl and Sandy since they bought the business from Fredell in the 70s and then bought Freelands. Both are exceptionally helpful and friendly. I don't think anyone in America knows more about fitting shooting clothes for junior shooters, has a better inventory, and de...

Re: Rebuild FAS 609 or buy an AP20 Pro?
You don't want the gun "rebuilt", you just want it fixed. I thought the price quoted was ridiculous. Find someone else to do the work. Pilk? Once fixed, it should be good for years to come. It only cost me about $50 to have my LPM1 SSP repaired, but it just meant replacing some O-rings. I...

Rebuild FAS 609 or buy an AP20 Pro?
I have reached my limit of toys according to the wife so I need to find a budget friendly way to improve my AP situation. My FAS 609 shoots at below par velocity and inconsistent as well making ragged holes in the target and occasionally low hits as well. I contacted Domino guns and they said they c...

Re: Max # of pellets through barrel?
FWIW, these guys from the UK sell seals for the FAS 609: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAS-AP604-amp-AP609-Air-Pistol-O-Ring-Seal-Kit-Ref-FAS1-/251796162015 They are listed as Bagnall & Kirkwood Ltd with a1tackleshop as their Ebay store. I've always had good luck buying airgun spares from the UK. Thi...

Re: Max # of pellets through barrel?
Seals will wear, but that's just a function of use. They will also age, so there's no real reason to not use the pistol in hopes of it "lasting forever" or what not. My recommendation is just shoot it! -Jenrick I shoot it every night. I just worry about having to have it worked on. I will...

Re: Max # of pellets through barrel?
Heat and abrasion are the two things that wear down rifling. Air guns of any type don't generate near enough heat to wear down a barrel. Abrasion is a different story, but soft lead is pretty nonabrasive. Soft lead laps are what is used to hold the abrasive when lapping out bearing journals etc, as...
