Re: CO2 cylinders not filling all the way.
I was under the impression that 5 lbs of CO2 pressurized to fit in the tank causes the CO2 to liquify. You are right, 5 lbs of CO2 means there is quite some liquid CO2 in the tank. Is there such a thing as CO2 tanks for liquid vs gas? Is it just a question as to whether it has a syphon tube or not?...

Re: CO2 cylinders not filling all the way.
No matter what, I can only get 12 grams in any of the three cylinders. Apparently, ther´s nothing wrong with your sylinders. I tried with the tanks upright and upside down. A tru sign of a CO2 tank that has ran out of liquid CO2. If you put your 3 sylinders in the fridge after filling 12 grams, the...

Re: Pardini SP Electronic Failure
I was offered a mechanical frame swap for nearly the cost of a new pistol. I did not find this an acceptable solution for something clearly a manufacturer's problem. The cost of frame-swap of my HPE to HP did cost less than half the cost of a new gun, gunsmith work included. Pardini is not the only...

Re: Twist rate for .32SWL for 50m
At paper targets bullet holes from wadcutters often appers slightly out of roundness, indicating yawing, and some instability, i think. The bad ballistic coefficient of wadcutters will reduce velocity markedly to 50 m. But rotation, angular velocity, will not be reduced much. Hence, may the wadcutte...

Re: Pardini SP Electronic Failure
I have a Pardini SP electronic, and every shoot I must turn ON/OFF to fire again. Anyone had this problem? Or know how to solve? Owners of Pardini SPE and HPE will sooner or later experience severe electronic problems. Pardini tried for some years to cure the problems by altering the solenoids, sir...

Cesare Morini founded the Morini company back in 1973: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morini_(manufacturer) I believe he constructed the unbeatable CM 84E free pistol, mostly on his own. He deserves to get nighted for that achievement. The "Matchguns" series of .22, .32, and air pistols? Ye...

Re: Air Pistol for 10m
I personally like SSPs, since they are less fuss.. Most (all?) SSPs suffer from low pellet velocity. Pellet may tear paper targets. FAS 6004 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA12TraS7Qw Raliable build quality, though. Chinese "budget" copy here, under the El Gamo brand, less reliable...

Re: Looking for MU55-1m pieces
Out of pure curiocity; is it really possible for those parts to get lost? Or get broken, or "consumed"?
Many years ago I owned a MU55 (MC55) for some time. Never got any part lost or broken.

.. have not had the privilege of shooting a Pardini. Your desires regarding trigger quality appear modest. You owe yourself to own an Pardini, or Morini. Don´t waste money buying anything less. These guns are superior to other brands og models available. Hight Standard Citation? Fired some models f...

Re: Steyr LP50 Questions
I got my wife the compact version, and I could set it up to be fairly close to a Pardini SP by loading it up with weights near the back. I have attached weights to get weight distribution similar to my 9 mm semiauato: https://www.stpgun.de/e-thor-6-0-stp-prommersberger-sportpistole.html Then I need...

Re: Steyr LP50 Questions
You may have guessed it, I own three of those; one LP 5 long, 1000 g+ trigger, one LP 50 long, 600 gram trigger, and one LP 50 compact 1000 g+ trigger. I prefer the LP 50 compact, 1000 g + trigger. Enjoyable, reliable guns, all of them. Recon I have fired tens of thousands (maybe even a full 100.000...

Re: Hammerli 150 Free Pistol
I think that the Hammerli 150 ... has turned in more perfect scores at ... back yard ranges.... Could be a fair statement, but hard to prove by anyone... Backyard range scores probably do not count in regard of evaluating free pistols. The TOZ 35 was popular by top shots for many, many years, and s...

Re: Hammerli 150 Free Pistol
A heafty price tag for an old gun? (Made 1973 - 1989). Some metal parts gold leaf covered? The H 150 is at the brink of obsolesence, badly outdated / overrun by the Morini CM 84, and a couple of other makes. The mechanical trigger of the H 150 had a habit of becoming less reliable with extended use....
