Sig Sauer offers the 320P, which was made for training on their 9mm version. It is CO2 powered and has a 20 round magazine (illegal? in CA). Goes for around $100. According to avilable information, the ingenious magazine holds 30 pellets. A belt inside the magazine housing carry the .177 pellets. T...

No, El Gamo is not the largest air pellet produser. That title goes to China, and the "Industry Brand" pellets.

Re: Air Venturi V10 match pistol
If that's true, and the standard trigger quality is the same, then LOTS of work is required to even make it mediocre. IMHO the Gamo Compact is responsible for many youngsters giving up pistol shooting; the trigger is that bad. Thanks, David, you are right on the spot. The only other gun, IMHO appro...

Re: Steyr pistols, dominating everything
Let me add: At the last World Cup in Changwon in South Korea in 2018 (from april 20 - still going on), at mens 10 m AP, there were in the final an "assembly" of Steyr 10s and Evos, but also two Morini 162s: Dankov of Bulgaria 3. place with his titanium 162, and Tran of Vietnam with his bla...

The Haemmerli 208 i owned many years ago, - the firing pin wasn`t protected. Firing pin hit the rear face of the Chamber, and firing pin eventuelly broke.jbshooter wrote:The firing pin is completely protected from impact in a Matchguns MG2.

Re: Pardini dry fire?
So many of the "Euro" .22 pistols do NOT lock their bolts to the rear after the last shot has been fired in them. Some examples are: Walther's GSP, GSP Expert and SSP. Does anyone have a logical explanation as to why these handguns were designed in this manner? The earliest Versions of th...

Federal .22 RF ammo made in Germany? Are you kidding me?
Have never seen any Federal (or CCI) .22 RF ammo made in Germany, and find it kind of hard to believe. (Please correct me if I`m wrong.)

Re: Steyr Popularity in Air Pistol
Cezare Morini ... introduced Air as the propellant that replaced Carbon Dioxide. Switching us from Fire extinguishers to SCUBA tanks. Yes, Morini did. The basic design of the M162 series are nearly three decades old now. The competing brand has left them behind, slowly. FWB made a couple of dungers...

Most unusual...i would suspect the regulator could be to blame. Get it serviced or replaced. Which brand/model of gun do you use?

Re: Can I save my club from itself?
I used to enjoy annoying the 2 handed shooters by referring to them as "hobby shooters". We nickname them "plinkers", "tincanners" etc. I feel pity with the two-handed "sprayers". And i feel pity with the clubs where that kind of "athletes" are outn...

I would recommend the 260 Remington. Which is a .308 Win necked down to take 6,5 mm bullets.

In my opinion simply an commercial adverticement in disguice. Hardly of any usefulness to any target marksman.

Kind of, yes, but..SlartyBartFast wrote: Rover seems to enjoy trolling the forum for reaction.
Probably he can`t expect to be read seriously, always. Amuses himself by throwing in some "disturbances" to the forum .. to get reactions.
I wouldn`t worry to much about that, though.

During several decades i have used .32 S&WL WC from more producers: Lapua (98 gns), Sako (98 gns) (Lapua-made bullets?), Geco (98 and 103 gns), Fiocchi (98 gns) and Norma (98 gns). Best results with Norma factory ammo. During the years I have used Walther GSP, FAS, Morini (short-lived) and Pardi...

Re: New Morini Air Pistol - CM200 EI
i think you see more pardinis in finals in the USA. Could be so, but in the world cup finals the Pardini LPs are far between. Steyr has an overwhelming dominance now. Maybe the new models from FWB; the P8X, the new CM200 from Morini and the new M500 from Walther could change that in the future? Fir...

Yes , I competed against Ragnar Skanaker in about 1985 .... I competed against Ragnar myself, in an AP competition in Europe that same year. Ragnar won, if memory serves me right, his score was 586. He beat Uwe Potteck (!). That was in Ragnars heydays. He used a Senfter CO2 pistol back then. He let...

Re: Olympic quality firearms/air guns manufactured in the US
Rifle or pistol the North American focus is simply not Olympic style shooting, and what focus there is on other precision competition shooting seems limited. The sportshooting movement is heading in that same "degenerating..." direction in other countries, too, also in Europe. Let me brie...

Re: Olympic quality firearms/air guns manufactured in the US
I was asked that question ("Olympic quality firearms/air guns manufactured in the USA?") at leagues this week ... In years gone by, Winchester 52, 70 and Remington 40X, made rifles that many used in the Olympics. In years gone by, yes. At present, regarding pistols? Probably not, regretta...
