Re: Pardini SP 4th Round Jams
Actually my Pardini functions just fine. Only 2 or 3 malfunctions in 30K rounds, all with Federal ammo. I was just thinking ahead re: future maintainence as I plan to shoot the gun until they scatter my ashes at the range one day. As well I end up being Mr.Fixit for the few high end guns in my neck ...

Re: Pardini SP 4th Round Jams
Thank you for the excellent tutorial on the O-ring replacements. My Pardini is 6 years old and probably 30,000 to 40,000 rounds. I never even concerned myself about the buffer until this thread came up. $62 is quite the rip-off for small O-rings. What are the dimensions of each ring? Secondly has an...

54.30 or KK 500 ???
Hi Everyone After 40 years shooting primarily second and third hand Anschutz's I've finally decided to buy a top of the line rifle. I don't need it and am only a club level shooter but life is short. Both of these are about the same price when optioned the same here in Canada. I'm not concerned abou...

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
Gerard Two things first- 58 isn't old........... I may have thought it was old when I was a young punk listening to that new band "Led Zeppelin" but now I know first hand 58 ain't old. second- could you please post how it goes on your K12, I'm going to have to do it myself one day Thanks B...

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
I've got a full seal kit on the way to me from the Canadian rep for Pardini. Sure would be nice to see a basic tear-down video for the K12, a really simple how-to for replacing all the seals in that pistol. I've got the blow-up diagram in the manual, but that's really not very helpful. You'd think ...

Re: Need Input from Walther SSP Owners
There's very few moving parts in an SSP. Slide, striker, recoil rod and striker rod and their respective springs. That's it other than the trigger group. So not a lube sensitive pistol. I use Anshutz ceramacote just because I use it on all my guns but you can use anything at all. Walther recommends ...

Re: Need Input from Walther SSP Owners
I have owned an SSP-E since August 2016. Purchased new from Canadian dealer. I also own a Pardini SP and MG-2 RF for comparison. The SSP-E has had 1 malfunction in about 5000 rounds. It was a dud round CCI-SV. I've put Eley, Lapua, Fiocchi, and RWS through it no problem, all are accurate and reliabl...

It's just a standard telephone cable, pick up a really cheap one at Princess auto or even the Dollar store.

Re: SCATT training with 10 M live air pistol
I shoot 10 shots per target as that was my routine for years. The results on paper and the results on the SCATT screen may not be exactly the same. The calibration shot must be dead on and you may have to adjust the F-factor up or down slightly to get an exact match. As mine is currently configured ...

Re: SCATT training with 10 M live air pistol
I've used a SCATT for live fire AP for over a year now. Thousands of rounds and it works just fine. I don't use a shield as the chance of hitting the frame is about nil especially if your average is 93. My son managed to hit the frame near one of the sensors and it just bounced off, didnt crack the ...

Re: Hand Pain?
Also, looking at your user name....... the years of holding onto to a Harley throttle will increase your risk of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from the transmitted vibration.

Re: Hand Pain?
My area of medical practice was a few feet higher up the human body (check my username :) ) but you've circled the exact area the Median nerve goes though the Carpal Tunnel. By the looks of your hand you are a few years past the age of puberty so an element of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is most likely a...

Re: Rink grips
FWIW I just received a set of custom grips from Mr. Rink. I sent him a really good fitting grip from my MG-2 and he was able to do a 3D scan and then copy it in walnut for my Pardini. He was able to get the offset for shooting with my left eye perfect. Took 8 weeks in total for me to send the MG gri...

Re: Walther SSP "special grease"
I bought an SSP-E a few months ago here in Canada. Didn't come with the "Special Grease". The only reason I can see for anything special on the two rods is something that doesn't erode the O-rings on the motion control apertures. So I've been using a silicon grease that's safe for nitrile ...

Just an excellent video, no need to apologize. In fact you should teach other guys how to produce you tube reviews.
Much appreciated as it answered nearly all my questions on the KK 500

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
What is the stock and the barrel and who hung the barrel? thanks The stock is made by Turbo and is made especially for the 3 position shooters with the removal buttstocks that make switch over in the finals very easy and fast. The barrel is a Shilen barrel and installed by Turbo. This rifle is all ...
