Re: Mantis x
Hi Cool,
Thanks for your reply.
I have seen some videos in YouTube where it had difficulties in detecting when dry firing. Did you have similar problems?
Did you use it with sport or free pistol?
Why would you not recommend it for 10m air pistol?
Thanks

Hello guys, has anybody here tested Mantis X for the Olympic pistols? Does it work for the air pistol? Also for dry fire?

Re: Matchguns MG1 pressure regulator problem
Hi there. You are right the Matchguns has the best possible pressure regulator. My MGH1 and those of my fellow shooters which I have seen testing have a velocity variation of 0.1-0.2 meter/second! Mine is even better, as often on 15 shots I get no decimal variation for most of them ( with the cheape...

Re: trigger LP10e vs EVO 10e
yes. for me the best trigger remains the matchguns, it is always perfectly repeatible. As I said, the Evo is somewhere in between lp10e and matchguns... I don't know why, as i would have expected to be exactly the same as the matchguns. Any way Evo has a great trigger. Last week i was talking to one...

Re: trigger LP10e vs EVO 10e
what do you mean for 'faster'? it has no microswitch, so it is much drier. For example Matchguns declare that with their electronic you need 0.001mm to release. I guess that Evo should be similar. my personal feeling is that the Evo is somewhere in between Matchguns and old lp10e in terms of how dry...

Also some of the things he does are not according to the book....but they are simply better than the book! Can you give some examples of those things? One of the details which I believe is different from what people usually say (and indeed other manufacturers) is related to the finger phalanges. If...

Re: Grip Concerns
Can I ask where in the UK do you live? Nick, I split my time between London and Edinburgh. With regards to the other questions raised, my pistol is 2014 manufacture, so on the recent side. This Cesare Morini option is particularly appealing, as I am in Bologna near Parma in February. However I have...

Re: Grip Concerns
Peter, I have had the "perfect" grip made by Cesare Morini a few weeks after I had taken for the first time a gun in my hand ( see one of my first post here with pictures). It was the only one who was really strongly recommended by experienced people here in Germany. I didn't know the man ...

Re: Grip Concerns
A while ago, Morini made grips for Steyr, and I think their sizing followed Morini's designations. I have a dim recollection that someone else may be making Steyr's grips now, so that could be part of the problem. My hand is 90mm across, and a medium Steyr from 6 or 7 years ago fits just as well as...

Re: Grip Concerns
Peter,
I have seen and/or tried grips made by all makers and so have most of my friends here in Germany. The conclusion is that there is just one man who is really capable of the job: Cesare Morini in Parma, Italy.

Re: Yet another "which pistol" thread
I still can't decide between the Morini and the lp2 compact. I was looking at grip size, and my hand is 9.5 cm wide, so that would match up to a large Morini grip, but puts me on the cusp between medium and large for steyr grips. If I decide to go with Steyr, should I get the medium or large grip? ...

[quote="SamEEE" As for what Pistol. Get a Morini 162EI, all others pale in comparison. You can catch my review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRHL04OE6vw Chur.[/quote] He wants a pistol with adjustable grip....and Morini 162ei is not! Morini 162ei forgiving?????? I love it, but cert...

Re: Pardini grip size chart
Pardini's grips are made by Tirelli, in Gardone Val Trompia (where Beretta is). You might want to ask them too.
I am 91mm wide all medium grips are perfect for me, with the only exception of Morini 162ei which is too large (And S is too small!!).

Re: Any Reviews Of Steyr Evo10E Out?
I'm not sure it is different. As far as FWB is concerned, I was surprised not to see anything to allow an easy set to neutral, but, again it was extremely easy, to my surprise, to align F and R sights.
