Re: Trying to get my daughter going in Air Rifle, Need Advic
Is she going to shoot 3P or just standing with the air gun? If 3P, I would make sure that the gun is easily changed over between the various positions. Re: Anschutz 5018 Trigger vs 5071 Trigger
Could you pull those triggers out of those guns and take some side-by-side pictures that show the difference in sear location?

Anschutz 5018 Trigger vs 5071 Trigger
Does anybody have any pictures showing the difference between the 5018 and 5071 triggers. I understand that the primary difference is in the location of the firing pin engaging sear. Are there any other differences?

Re: Cut-out foam for rifle case?
I used Kaizen Foam in my case for my 1613 and I think it works well. I have all my sights etc in their own cutouts. Kaizen foam is great stuff, but I found their website a little bit misleading. I thought that the stuff was made from thin layers of foam that were glued together and that after you sc...

I usually look away and do a little "shake" and then see where the NPA is.

Steve Villani at Eyeglass Lens Direct made me 2 lenses for my Neostyle Champions for $35 + Shipping. The lenses were 25mm round with a simple Rx. He was knowledgeable about making lenses for shooting glasses. The website is:

If it's just for practice, just look at it and score it by eye. You will probably be closer than you think.

Re: Which scope/reticle for 50 meters and 50 ft?
Those Leupold scopes are nice, but a little pricey. If you want to try something a little more bargain priced, a BSA scope is not too bad.

Re: Lefty Advice
Check out patent 4020577. It's a bolt handle adapter to modify right handed bolts for left handed action. It was invented by a fellow with whom I went to college and he shot quite well with it on the rifle team.
