Re: UNIQUE DES 69 sights
8 clicks elevation = 1 full revolution.
Therefore, 1/4 full turn = 2 clicks.
You're welcome. :D

Re: shell catchers for autos are they wort the money.
It's a slim chance that the one for the GSP would work on a Pardini. I never did call Pardini on a shell catcher not much luck if they got such a thing. Tried to call Pardini a while back got a answering machine that told me there mail box was full can't quite understand that. A business with a ful...

Re: Cheaper pellets misfiring in match guns?
I just got my FAS 6004 yesterday and am very impressed so far. I got the following pellets to try: RWS Meisterkugeln RWS R10 RWS Hobby JSB Match Diablo JSB Schak They all work good except the RWS Hobby pellets, they misfire almost every time. It sounds like it just leaks air around the pellet or so...

Re: backed with question !!
Although "shooting" on the move sounds like trying to pick off the bull, I don't believe that is what was meant, and starting the trigger while on the move to the center is not a bad idea. In fact, it's better to have the shot go off when you reach center, than to reach center, start the ...

Re: backed with question !!
Hi fellas, Here's a re-write (or addendum, if you will :p) of my last post. I'll leave my last post up and unedited so you can pick and choose what makes sense and useful to you, and what's not. :-) Please bear in mind that I'm not much of a writer. I'm trying though. So please forgive me if I falte...

Re: backed with question !!
You have bought a gun with expensive adjustable sights. Use Them :-) I want to know what wrong is happened .. the sights was very good before (the shot breaks) !!!! Very good shooting! :-) Your target tells me that you've come this far just on hard work/merit alone. Your hold is very solid as far a...

Re: backed with question !!
Sorry for jumping back into the fray a tad late....spending too much time pencil pushing on a (supposedly) Holiday weekend. :p Ed very much sums it up perfectly. Hats off to you Ed, I wish I have your knowledge and can write as good as you. :-) Toddinjax, I apologize for the confusion. I meant 90 de...

They can be passionate, suave lovers but most of the time they are emotionally distant and this causes much ambiguity and frustration. My brand of humor and beat me to the punch. :-) sha3banov, Are you asking if stance, as in open "90 degree with shooting arm more sideways" vs. closed &qu...

Re: Query for Experienced Competitive Shooters.
Thought I throw this into the mix: Record yourself going through the shot process, or have someone stand next to you to verify. Assuming that you're right-handed, you may have inadvertently turned or tilted your head ever so slightly to your left without you being aware of it. This will change your ...

Re: New world record on 50m pistol
Absolutely agree. Personally I like how Melentiev's aggregate group looks on paper. If I was Jin the 1st 8 would've got me thinking, "oh shoot there goes my chance of breaking 580" and the 2nd 8 "Damn there goes 570" lol. Also, Melentiev was shooting a less refined (not necessari...

Was a tongue in cheek statement between 2 close friends, if I'm not mistaken. Not to offend or taken seriously. :-) He could become quite a good shooter ;-) Some flash-in-the-pan nobody shoots a fluke WR score witnessed by absolutely no one at an out-of-the-way match and you think that means somethi...

Re: New world record on 50m pistol
If he didn't had those 2 8's (Melentiev's were mostly 10's and some 9's) that score would've been somewhere between 585-587. :-) One can only imagine what went on in his mind when he jerked the 1st 8 and dipped the wrist slightly on the 2nd 8 (both being anticipation from shooting strings of solid 1...

Jake,
Thanks for chiming in. I'd figure that's the case, but want to verify this with Emil or other GT45 owners.
*big sigh of relief* lol
Best,
Bill

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
I've just received a used GT45. I've noticed the slide to frame fit is rather loose, unlike a tightly fitted accurized 1911. Is this normal (i.e. part of the design) ? I've also noticed that when I press down on the exposed part of the barrel hood, it drops down and unlock. Usually in an accurized 1...
