Re: FAS 607
They 602/607 work best with the extract removed. Pure blow back. Keep the gun clean (no brainer as it is simple to disassemble) and change the recoil spring often as the factory ones get compressed and stay compressed. I should start looking at better - longer lasting springs. Other issue, firing pi...

.45ACP portion of 2700
Are comp-ed or ported barrels allowed in the .45ACP portion of the 2700 ? My reading of the rules, is that is it ok. I know no one uses them, but I have a chance to pick up a cheap 90's vintage IPSC open gun in 1911 in .45ACP with a ProPoint Red dot. I will eventually re-barrel it back to regular ba...

S&W 52 replacement barrels
Who know where to get replacement 52 barrels?
Squib bulged one. Now it ransoms VERY badly at 50 yards.
Smith no longer sells them, so Numeric doesn't have them
any more.

Walther SSP underbarrel recoil dampening
My friend just got one of these from Walther, but no instructions.
Anyone out there know what the adjustment screws do (front and
back).
This add on replaces the weights under the barrel.

As far as safety. Keeping compress CO2 around is legal and safe. That is what is in a type B/C fire extinguisher. Co...

FAS bugs...
Cavaet for the FAS SP family... Gun must be kept absolutely clean to get reliability. Recoil spings need to be checked and replaced frequently. The spring get compressed and stays that way after 6 months. The rear screw holding the trigger assembly has a tendency to come loose. This makes the slide ...
