I had a biology teacher in high school once say that practice does not make perfect, rather, perfect practice makes perfect. Would this analogy carry over to the discussion about practice? Seems to me if you practice poor technique, you hit a wall at some point. I like the idea of a coach for those ...

Thank You All

This grip is new to me and I need to take some time to get used to it. I really prefer not removing wood if not absolutely necessary. I did further lower the back end of the shelf. That has taken off much of the pressure on the heel of the hand. The Rink instructions talk of adjusting the screws tog...

Modifying Rink Grip Palm Shelf

Just received my first 10M pistol fitted with a LH Rink grip. Only adjustment so far was to lower the palm shelf to relieve the compression of my hand. The back of the shelf, though is leaving a bruise on the heel of my hand. I assume this is a sign that I should sand down the shelf to relieve this ...

Thanks for the clarification that the reference was from a work of literary fiction. Jacko, you need to read Matthew 7:4 before posting next time. Who is Matthew? I am new to 10M pistol shooting. It was a biblical reference relating to how one supposedly ought not to criticize others, as we all have...

I called Larry's to inquire about a Benelli Kite Young. It is my understanding that when you buy the pistol, it is shipped in a sealed case. They do not check guns before shipping so they have no idea what date is on the cylinder. In fact, they could not tell me what color cylinders are in a kit. So...

Though turning a 46M into an MSP makes it versatile (i.e silhouette, pesting), it seems the you would have to pump 2-3 times to reach the velocity the pistol now produces with one pump. For target shooting, that might be a disadvantage.

Thanks for your reply. I use the Hill pump for other airguns and prefer to keep the foster connector and hose. You mentioned DIN 200 and I've seen references to DIN 300. I must do some more research on the differences.

I use felt pellets for quick cleanings. Lothar Walther, as I recall, recommends using them. You can put a few drops of cleaner on the pellets, followed by a few dry ones, and finish with a wee bit of oil as pointed out by Mr. Johnson. I only do this when I see some shifting in POI. Takes just a few ...

Benelli Kite Fill Adapter For Hill Pump

What adapter do I need to so I can fill the cylinder of a Benelli Kite from a Hill pump with a female foster quick-disconnect fitting at the terminus? What I gather from Larry's is the adapter in the Benelli kit screws onto the cylinder and the other end is a threaded male DIN connector. http://i265...

How High To Hang 10M AP Target?

What is the regulation height one should hang a 10M AP target? Yes, newb-type question; please bear with me. I have searched for this information on the Web and never came up with an answer.
