Thank you all for your interest and your views. With an alibi you have to make a split decision concerning what you will do, take it or not. My last match of the year I had an alibi. I shot 1 shot, indicated alibi and the alibi was accepted. When I shot the alibi string there was another malfunction. snap caps for dry firing my Rock River 1911
Regular snap caps won't fit into the chamber of my Rock River 1911. Therefore, I am reluctant to dry fire it. What would be an alternative? Can I shave some of the material from the snap cap. What are others doing who were confronted with this problem?
