Re: Daisy 599 parts list
599 Exploded View.jpg 599 Parts List.jpg Found a way. Hopefully this will help with all those that have these rifles. Daisy sent me an e-mail saying that I could not purchase Item #94 by itself, but that I would have to purchase the seal and screw kit, but then didn't send me a link to that kit, an...

Re: Daisy 599 parts list
I've got the complete list I want to share. Somebody tell me how to attach. Huh, file too large warning. Well that is a bummer because it has a lot of detail. It's less than 900kb. Wanted to share with the community, but I guess I can't. maybe if I break up into two pages . . . . let me try Nope. St...

Re: Daisy 599 parts list
So, one of my young lady's 2nd Stage Trigger Weight set screw is missing and we can't get the weight above 1lb 3 oz. It is trigger adjust "C" from the manual. Anybody know if there is a spring under there. It doesn't appear from the diagram, but want to make sure. I guess I will call Daisy...

Re: Daisy 599 parts list
Yeah, It's a pretty good diagram. The bubbles are pointless though as they don't appear to be referenced on the parts list. Thanks for the PDF. It's high res so that helps.

Re: AirForce Edge back?
One of my younger shooters just got one of these. Seems to shoot good, but we haven't benched it. It is a full pound lighter so easy for younger shooters. The but-stock/air tank is very annoying as it has not bee staked or locked in any way. Rotates and becomes a rule violation very easily. They sho...

Re: 2017-2018 USAS JOs now running by ISSF rules
I would be careful using Target Scan. I tried using it and they seem so score by the leading edge breaking the line method rather than the plug gage method. When I used it, all combined scores were higher than they should have been because they seemingly didn't know how to score correctly. Now, it i...

Re: 2017-2018 USAS JOs now running by ISSF rules
"The reason they cannot convert away from integer is that really only a few of us have electronic targets or ORION. The only way I can see them going to decimal in the 10m events is to require that hosts have one or the other above." .0 - .9 decimal by hand is impossible. But rating by .0,...

Re: 2017-2018 USAS JOs now running by ISSF rules
Interesting. I think sometime these rule changes are made in a vacuum. Well so much for being in the off season, time to start doing my homework. A week and an half is enough rest. Thanks for this information Joel. I'll look into these as see how it applies to my shooters this upcoming season.

Re: 22LR, single shot, bolt action rifle, 7 oz trigger capab
CZ has got one that fits the bill. CZ 455 Varmint with mag insert to make single shot. Think I'm going that way.

22LR, single shot, bolt action rifle, 7 oz trigger capable
Looking for suggestions on a single shot, bolt action 22 with a bull barrel (1" or less diameter), that I can take the trigger down to 7oz, or that has a easy replacement option for the trigger that can go down to 7 oz. I really need a two stage trigger that is crisp in stage two with little or...

"If it . . . . . fits me . . . . "
That is the whole point of my rifle stock Andre, to get a precision rifle that fits all. It can be adjusted to fit anyone. The Savage design is confusing. It has precision class type sights but a sporter class type stock that fits almost no one. Even if shooting the NRA class "The Rifle" w...

Trigger wieght for offhand shoting
Let me clarify for purposes of this discussion. The trigger job will set the trigger to 14oz to 16oz if measured from the center of the trigger, where most measure from. However, I encourage users of this rifle to use the AccuTrigger toe as the reference for placing the swirl of fingerprint repeated...

Yeah, I contacted Savage and they were unwilling. So that's where I stepped up. I make them, and that is my website link. Those stocks Savage has are cookie cutter across many of their rifles and literally cost them only a couple of dollars to make, after the initial cost of purchasing the mold of c...

For those that don't have lots of $
http://www.l3ps.net/home.html Just convert a Savage Mark 1 FVT. For those that want to shoot with proper gear, be competitive, and don't have thousands of dollars just laying around. Or for those that want their young shooter not to be held back at competition. The whole idea here was to make a rifl...

Just turn your Savage Mark I FVT into a good rifle.
http://www.l3ps.net/home.html The AccuTrigger problem can also be overcome quite easily. I have one Mark 1 FVT shooting at 11 ounces and it has never malfunctioned. I have seen the Savage Mark I FVT trigger go down to 8 ounces, but you tend to get an occasional malfunction at that trigger pull weigh...
