I no longer have a 35M to look at but, have you tried punching it out from the other direction? (If thats even possible) Perhaps its tapered?

I like the dot at the POI. Others that I shoot with set them up the same way. A 4 MOA dot at 25yards is about 1" dia, at 50' they are about 3/4" very close to the 10 ring size on B-2 and B-3, 50' targets. If I shoot at any other targets with my pistol I don't have to guess where the rounds...

300.00 is a very good price for it. If it's an older model they had a few reliability issues (98-2000 aprox.) My 2003, (one of the last shipped) I wouldn't take less than 450.00 for it. (what I paid) It shoots great and I can't remember a fail to fire that was gun related...
