How do these get scored
Hi I'm pretty new to this game, alot to learn. I'm looking at the monthly AP postings and some guys show a picture of a paper target with all 60 shots on it . Yet post individual ten shot scores adding up to the total. Some of those targets have one big hole in the middle. So how do you keep track o...

Re: How do you keep it fun ?
Thanks for the replys.
I have been training seven days a week and not really having fun and not improving my scores.
Time for a brake and a deep breath.
Thanks, Tom

How do you keep it fun ?
Hi I am pretty new to the sport, shooting bullseye for a year and a half and air pistol for about six months. In the past I just pick up the gun and shoot for a couple of hours and have a ball. Of course my scores really never improved much . Now I want to get better and am receiving some instructio...

Hi I'm still learning the basics, I normally approach from the bottom. After reading this thread I tried lowering, I found it to be easier but when the gun is in the black I can't see the sights. Can you guys actually line up your sights while in the black ? I end up lowering the gun lining it up th...

Re: Sight width question
OK thanks guys
My rear sight is way narrower than the illustrations. I read on the provided link , you need a good hold to use a narrow rear sight.
I'm pretty sure if I open it up a little I'll do better.
Thanks, Tom

Sight width question
Hi I have a IZH 46M, it came with a few options for setting up different sights. As new it is set up so the front sight is just slightly smaller than the rear, meaning when it's centered there is very slim light bars on either side of the front sight. I was comparing it to a .22 I have and those sig...

Re: Just bought a IZH-46m, Have a question
I'm also new to the IZH, mine does the same thing. Every now and then.
I thought it was me, I thought when I shut the breach I must be hitting the trigger some how being careless.
Time to look at little deeper.

Re: FWB AW93 LEFT HAND FACTORY GRIPS MEDIUM
Question
Title says medium, pictures say large on them . Could you clarify?
You mentioned no wood removed but it appears the whole back of the stock is missing by the rear sight area, maybe I'm not seeing it correctly.
I would like to buy it but want to make sure what it is.
Thanks, Tom

I was actually prepared for that answer. I was just wondering being the trigger is so light it may be a different process. I'll work it out.
Thanks, Tom

Finger placement question
Hi I'm new to air pistol, like alot of others I'm trying to keep myself entertained durring this disaster. I saw a u tube video with instruction to press the trigger on an air pistol with the tip of your finger. Typically in bullseye I would use the first crease or joint, those triggers are typicall...

Fundamental question
Hi I just bought a 10m pistol to practice with in my basement. I have always read and followed " for bullseye shooting " stare at the front sight and leave the target blurry then take your shot. Now I'm just getting my feet wet in ten meter, but I stare at the front sight, line it up and g...

The Baikal looks pretty nice with good reviews.
Can't find one for sale though, all the vendors I checked were out of stock.
Thanks, Tom

Re: Pcp pistol recommendation
Renso thanks but a few years ago I bought a ssp rifle and I never liked it. To be fair I was wearing a shooting coat and sling , but it was just to much of a hassle to pump it for every shot and then get back into position. So I ended up never using it. I realise a pistol is different but I don't wa...

Hi I have never shot an air pistol and would like to give it a try in my basement. I am looking at the Air Arms alfa prog pistol it's at about my max budget. Would this be a quality pistol ? There is a used one on e bay , no one seems to be buying it so that makes me a little cautious. At this point...
