Non-linear relationship between AR and AP scores?

I grabbed my Crosman 2300s (modified with custom grips and marauder trigger assembly) after having been practicing air rifle for the past few weeks. I actually found it easier to shoot higher scores (for air pistol targets). However, it seems that top scores for AR are higher than those for AP. Is i...

We had our first recorded match last night. I got the lowly score of 121 out of 200 (lowest in the group). I did well on several shots, but I also had moments where I would clench up while firing -- involuntary spasm in a butt muscle, electric "zap" in my neck, etc.. Very strange. :) Anywa...

Well, I'm getting a little better. I'm now pretty consistently not touching the white (except for that last shot in the example below :( ). Still shooting with my Crosman Challenger PCP and no glove or jacket. I'll probably get more equipment when I start to consistently break 500, so that will prob...

The local dive shops are able to fill to 4000 psi. So, close enough. :)

Hi All,

Does anyone know a good source that can fill an 4500 psi, 80 ci air bottle in the Bellevue, WA area?

Thanks!

I've got the Crosman CH2009:

It is accurate and fairly adjustable with a reasonably good trigger. There seem to be a lot of them in use for the junior/sporter folks and the seem to be winning a lot in those areas.

I had my first practice with a group of folks last night. Lots of fun. I was the least equipped with my Crosman Challenger (lots of nice guns there) and no shooting jacket, gloves, etc.. The first thing I noticed was a definitely need for a spotting scope. In my basement, I was just walking up to th...

My son is almost 6 and I'm thinking of getting him started. I wouldn't mind at all tweaking other parents with a shooting jacket or sticker. :)

Well said everyone. I'm not very experienced, but look forward to learning. I really enjoy just picking up the gun and feeling it in my hands, so I'm going to make sure that I get as much practice as possible. :)

Being a very new member here, are there examples of these unwritten rules? The last thing I'd want to do is annoy anyone. :) I did get one strange, maybe somewhat passive-aggressive response in a previous post. So, I may have already made a misstep. This reminds me of when I started playing volleyba...

Thank you for all the replies . At the moment, I'm just a basement shooter and only 6 meters at that. :) Although I have the means, I would probably feel silly with an expensive gun and gear. However, you never know. With enough practice, I might feel more comfortable with that stuff. Honestly, at 4...

Anything available in Bellevue, WA area.

I've been playing around with my Crosman Challenger PCP and Crosman 2300s, but I don't seem to see any competitions or places to shoot near the Bellevue, WA area.

Is there anything available?

Thanks!
