Re: Champion Olympic vs Super Olympic glasses?

The differences are lens holder adjustability and an off set nose ridge. The Super Olympics has more adjustability options. It might be an advantage for people with a right hand left eye dominance but other than that, I don’t see any benefit over their more conventional Olympics frame. More adjusabi...

Re: Dry Firing mechanism not working

I had this problem as well. Remove the grip and check the cam (part no 15). It´s on the LH side above the sliver colored spring. A sliver pin should stick out of the cam. If not, it´s gone. A fix is easy. The hole has a 2mm diameter. A piece of the shaft of a metric 2mm drill can be used to fix it....

Re: Optics mounts for the Chiappa 6004 ?

Try BME-Mounts. I have mine form there. It`s avertised as being made for the FAS 604 but it will fit on the FAS 6004 also. The shop is old shool. You might have to call to finalize the deal. Service was great.

Re: Air Venturi V10 Match Pistol vs FAS 6004?

I shoot an LP10, own a FAS and had the Gamo 45 (Air Venturs V10). Technically there’s not much of a difference between the FAS and the Gamo. The principle is the same, but FAS/Chiappa put more thoughts into the desing of these items then the Gamo/AirVenturi did; and is technically better executed al...

Re: Address needed for Hammerli Lenzburg

Hämmerli Lenzburg shut down years ago. The place is now a restaurant called “Hämmerli Palace”. Carl Walther is now owner of the brand, but is supporting only products of it’s own line. Older manuals can be found when you google “Bedienungsanleitung Hämmerli XXX”.
Good luck.

Re: Steyr EVO 10... Pfffft, but no pellet shot?

I dont think it’s a big deal. There is not many other places to look for. The chance of being it the regulator is rather small. It’s nothing but an expansion chamber with a couple of springwashers stacked inside. When the pistol “plops” normally when it’s fired without pellet, it’s technicaly sound ...

Re: Sig Sauer Pellets - BEWARE!

"ballistic" and "alloy" don't play in the same league. Why shooting ALLOY pellets from a (kind of) match-gun?? Ulrich, I think you are lost in translation. Alloy means “Legierung”, not “Aluminium”. What SIGSauer is advertising as “ballistic alloy”, can be a metal mix of just abo...

Re: Rink Grips for Steyr LP1/LP5/LP10 Question

Rink is offering several configurations for each grip size. That makes it difficult to answer your question. By sending him a sketch of the outline of your hand like it’s explained on his site, he can answer your question and might propose a solution to you.

Re: Training use for mech trigger of MGH1 Hybrid

Knowing the characteristics of its mechanical trigger it’s good mental training for being prepared of the odd situation like a failing electronic. The little extra weight should not compromise the quality of the “shot”. If the front sight becomes less stable with only a little increase of the trigge...

Re: Effect of Air Pistol Barrel Length on Intrinsic Accuracy

It’s not about performance form the machine, it’s about human speed vs speed of an AP action, as far as I understand it, but still, it really is a „mental masturbation“. The time it takes to accelerate the pellet form the chamber to the muzzle or to reach Vo can be calculated. It’s between 3/1000 an...

I want to purchase those stainless steel shroud weights used by some of the competitors that I saw on ISSF TV ; those provided by the factory rust so easily ! Any idea on where to get them ? Appreciate. I think IROSA in Germany is producing what you are looking for. http://www.irosa.de/wp/profiline...

Matchguns MGH-1 Hybrid - manual & grip options

Hi, I’m interested in this pistol. Unfortunately there is not much technical information about it. I’m looking for a manual, exploded view and the parts list. I have not contacted Matchguns yet, but is anybody aware of another source that provides the information I’m looking for. Another question ab...

I go to the gym twice a week working on muscle volumes. That’s what I need to stabilize my body and improving stance and consistency. There is two schools. On is HIT the other is Volume. What’s better is like a debate over religion. I’m doing HIT. It’s slowly moving the max load 6 – 9 times within 6...

Re: Steyr LP 10 Velocity

I doubt these recommendations are primarily about accuracy. I rather suspect it’s the Vo range the absorber operates most effectively. Action (E0 Pellet) + Reaction (E Absorber) = 0 Absorber energy is a given. It cannot be adjusted. The only way to get a balance is to play with pellet weight and air...

Re: Is FWB P11 Piccolo good?

The P11 is a well made pistol and has everything it needs for an entry level, but it does not have a cut off for dry-firing practices. The full cylinder has to be disconnected or an empty one has to be used for such training. You might check the manual first before you decide. It’s available form th...
