Re: Anybody have a new FAS 6004?
Maintenance: I don’t have a recommendation for a preventive maintenance schedule. My experience is based on experiments I did for myself. I wanted to know how much grains of salt I have to add to the quality problems of the FAS 6004 and the general worries about this pistol. I therefor experimented ...

Re: Anybody have a new FAS 6004?
I just really need some advice on maintenance at this point and appreciate any help I can get. One or two drops of pellgun oil in the air intake hole on top of the compression cylinder for every 500-1.000 shots. You can use Super Lube grease on the piston rod and the breech o-ring. Ballistol can be...

Re: Using 10m target for the 25m
Thanks in advance for accepting my smart-assness. I think there’s two basic errors. 25m pistol targets have a different ring diameter proportions than 10 m AP targets. For the calculation of the proportions the Intercept Theorem applies: d1 : s1 = d2 : s2 and because of the different proportions the...

Re: question about rules...
I know this problem from outdoor ranges. A sooth lighter may help. An alternative would be a light filter. I’m mostly using a purple filter glass (amethyst) indoors, when the edges of the sights start to reflect. Purple eliminates glare and both, front and rear sight appear crisp and in a uniform, v...

Re: pellet size
The barrel is guiding the pellet on its head and the skirt. The hole you see on the target is representing the bore diameter of the barrel. Reference point for shot measurement on the target is the centre of the hole. It´s placement is measured from the centre with a standardized scoring 4.50mm scor...

Re: Shooting glasses recommendation?
I’m coming form the optometrist. I got a pair of shooting glasses yesterday. After the check, I could choose the frames. I had the choice between Champion, Jäggi, Knobloch and Varga. For quality I understand fit and finish, performance is the ease of adjustability. I got the impression they all wher...

MG2 or CM22
Hello forum, I’m the new guy on this forum. I’m shooting standard with an SP20, but would like to replace it with a Matchgun MG2 or a Morini CM22. Those who have either one of the two, would you buy it again? If not what would be your reason for a different model? Thanks for your help. Regards, Daniel
