Re: Matchguns mg1 opinions
Hello. They are okay, depends if you like it and can shoot it well as much as anything. Tools can be inspiring, or ruinously frustrating. Both examples I have seen had cracks across the top of the frame between the barrel mounting grub screws, although this didn't seem to have an appreciable effect ...

Re: Haemmerli old stuff, that substance between sear and hammer
Automatenfett, probs. Sparkly blue flecks. You can get the stuff in Stgw.57 kits, so you can buy some grease and get quite a nice .30 calibre cleaning kit with it. I use a smudge of it on my GSP trigger plunger pins. It's also good for squeaky washing lines. http://swissrifles.com/access/greasecan.j...

Re: Arc of movement in 10 circle
There are two arcs of movement. You can consider these as one angular, and the other parallel to the axis of the origin in three(or is it four?) - dimensional space. We can probably disregard quantum field theory in this case, so 3D space. Angular errors come from things like wrist movements or trig...

Re: Dot size?
You could try a "variolens" which is an inflatable(?) lens setup which changes the dioptre (-3 -> +3, I think) rating of the optic as you adjust it. A aperture in front of the lens will stop down your iris some and increase your depth of vision. Hopefully between those two solutions you fi...

Looks okay to me. I think in the spirit of the rules they are more thinking a fully encircled front sight which could be a peep.

Yep, that's a Drulov alright. Nice piece of Czechnology, solid as.
A popular, and nice upgrade is to solder a trigger shoe to the push button trigger.

Re: Unique DES 32-U
Frames/Slides crack above the takedown lever, keep an eye on that area. Seems like they are undersprung, and might benefit from a buffer. Shot one for 3-4 years before getting my GSP. Cases go out at 3 oclock at an elevation of between 20-30 degrees - there is a provision of a case catcher on the ri...

They are not ballistic projectile protected, nor are they designed to be.
You only have two eyes and if you have any doubt, then you should wear ballistic protection in the USA the standard is "Z87.1".

Re: Can I save my club from itself?
It's not either/or, only the Sith deal in absolutes. Both schools of thought can exist peacefully together within a club. Shooters can often be their own worst enemies, there are couple of comments in here that made me scratch my head a bit. My advice is to do cool things with like minded people, if...

Re: Steyr Popularity in Air Pistol
Thanks for the replies. Are the electronic triggers much different/superior to the mechanical triggers? Also, how much do people tweak their pistol grip?. 1) No, not really. I went for electronic for convenience of not having to cock the trigger for a dryfire. 2) Varies. Some don't touch the stock ...

Re: Steyr Popularity in Air Pistol
Steyr and Morini have had a good design and just tweaked it around the edges. They work really well, and have been trusted by the best for some 20 years now. That counted a lot for me when I bought my Morini 162EI. FWB made a couple of dungers and that was them done - but slowly making a comeback as...
