Re: Stripped Alan Head

Cant tell from the picture if any of the head is sticking up above the surface. I would use a dremel tool and cut a slot in the head and use a screwdriver to remove. If could get a small vice grip on it might also try that.

Re: Upgrades for LG400 (Sights and Buttplate)

Have you pellet tested and shooting the right pellets, or just shooting anything. They can make a big difference. A really big difference. The Contact 3 buttplate and the Walther match sight have been around for years and changing them is probably not going to gain anything.

Re: Scatt analysis

This is a typical graph. What happens is you see the optimum target picture and then you start thinking about pulling the trigger. The brain can't do both at the same time. you either think about pulling the trigger or you think about getting the sight alignment. The trick is to get the subconscious...

Have not had those issues with the Bleiker. While is true no service in the US, they have been very good about sending parts as needed, most at no cost if needed, also a diagram is usually included on how to replace the part.

Some thoughts on the Pardini air rifle. Seems to be well made and feels good in the hands. percieved issues. Only one size pistol grip available one size there does not fit all. Detailed instructions pretty good, but on the parts drawing nothing is named, only given a number. Uses a Feinwerkbau fron...

contact lens vs shooting glasses

What is the current thinking on shooting with a contact lens vs a prescription shooting lens in a shooting frame like Champion. Is there any difference? With an astigmatism I'm thinking might not be seeing the same through the contact lens consistently. Any thoughts on this?

You have not said if you changed computers, If you changed computers to windows 8 or 8.1 and have not upraded the firmware then there is a big problem. I have also found that the target and sensor are sensitive as to which port they are plugged into. Sometimes I need to unplug and plug back in to ge...

Here is another Lapua test, did not scan the 100 yd. Lapua also gives the group size at 100 which for most of us is not important, but to some it is. Darrel very easy to work with and they test with rifle in the stock. Tested some that after 5 shots could tell was no good and quit after 5.

Has been awhile, but the last time I tried to purchase an air rifle from Germany could not get it shipped for a resonable fee as DSL started refusing to accept all firearms and parts including air rifles. I was purchasing from a reputable dealer that I had used in the past, but then DSL started caus...

Lift out VERY carefully, there is a little piece of plastic with a hook on the end to hold a spring, That hook is real easy to break off, Trigger doesn't work when no spring. been there done that. I now have several of them. Other than that very easy.
