Re: Keyholing Clark bbl on my Model 41
Better scoring through fat oscillations?? Yah, I've mentioned that to the guys but the question remains: What to use at the long line?

Keyholing Clark bbl on my Model 41
I had not noticed the fat holes until recently........having shot a lot of CCI through it over the last several years. Shooting BE indoors @ 50', I was getting some very fat, oblong hits, maybe 3 or 4 per tgt of ten shots. Commented on by various shooters when they scored me over the last several mo...

Re: Best .22 conversion to buy?
Larry at Nelson returned my call today and has my name on the end of month, maybe early May delivery list. I considered a Chambers, mentally allowing another couple of hundred but when I found out it was mid teen$.........out of my range. I just can't afford to cry that much.... Thanks Everyone for ...

Best .22 conversion to buy?
I'm wanting to buy once and cry once and am asking what is the best conversion to acquire. Also why one is better in your opinion and which one(s) to avoid. I'll be shooting a dot and wgt does not bother me yet.
I appreciate the time you guys will take to advise.

Been shooting BE since the mid 70's. I did have a 25 year layoff but have been back at it for several years now and have shot as high as 863-23 out back, measured and timed. However, 830 seems to be more of the norm of late - esp with these probs. Clark on my 41 w/a 4 Dot UD, factory grips. Prefer a...

Jerry, I just passed on an unfired 207.
I consulted some BE board members and was advised to check to see if any 208, 215 or other mags would work...........if I were to use it for BE as it only had one mag. This has the longer sight radius, near Olympic max, which may or may not be a plus to you. I decided that mine, w/o a box, tools, or...

the PM's. I've decided to pass on this one. NO tools, extra mag, box bottom.

Hammerli Pistol Question
Looking at what I am thinking is a 207 because it has the muzzle brake and 180mm+ bbl. What I am told is that it says "Hammerli International", no model number that he is aware of. Gun probably bought 35 yrs ago +/-. Serial number is 21534...........can anyone help me with physical charact...

Model 41 safety...... AD?
Practicing out back after work today taking advantage of the mid 60° temps. Gun is one of the alphabet mod 41's (3 alpha prefix) that happens to have a slightly better imo trigger than my early A. Been shooting this for a year now, matches and practice. I was in process of a sustained portion when s...

Clark bbls..........I don't think they use Smith bbls
anymore. They did for a long while but Smith dried up on them, couldn't get one for it seems like two years...........They are now using, to the best of my knowledge, bbls supplied by another known aftermarket bbl mfr. I have one and the tight chamber can be a bit problematic if I don't use a drop o...

The replies pretty well cover it...........
My home club had a few like first mentioned.......would half bag all year to try and do well at a "Big Club Match"......we just ignored them and progressed to whatever levels we could. Right now, my shooting is very erratic. I stopped BE for nearly 35 years and have been trying to resurrec...

Ejection probs w/Clark bbl
Bought this used, replaced a 5.5 on my Model 41 with it and have seen some very interesting failure to ejects. The most unique for me after shooting BE heavily in the 70's and now again the last 2 years is where the empty has stuck itself on the extractor, head on. Usually have to pry it off...........

Range commands............time frame.
Am I having a very senior moment? Way back in the memory banks, seems that the commands were supposed to happen, start to finish in 16 seconds.........??
I just listened to the MP3 offering above and it seems fast to me? Has my 33 year layoff from BE addled my brain?

Another point is:
The grips are kinda on the huge/bulky side. You'll have to do some major mods............probably. I have shot a fair amount of NRA Bulls Eye and you seldom see them on the line. Some folks get all choked up when the word "Browning" is mentioned. I do when it comes to his genius in design,...

46M puked..........
Denis, Thanks for advising me of the natural trigger angle..........I'd have been trying to fix that. She's shooting again, nuttin' broken, maybe having the trigger set heavier than usual for BE is making it make the "tink" noise. I think I need to get some Pellgun Oil and keep the air tan...
