Pardon the simple maint question, tried to search this...

I've got a Daisy 717 and looking for the correct oil to lube the felt pad in the pump/plunger system. Being that the o-ring seal runs through this spot I realize I need something "o-ring safe". Manual says "20 wt oil" and that's it. I'll admit I haven't looked THAT hard, but tend...

Thanks again for all the useful info. In researching bulk-fill co2, I found it's much simpler than I thought (as most things usually are...). It would definitely be the way to go if I go co2 on my next gun. Gary: I had seen the non-skid tape idea before, but never really had a problem with the gun s...

Mark, thanks for the very informative post. Sorry if I somehow eluded to actually owning a Tau, I don't. It is however, on my "upgrade list". I'm currently using a Daisy 717. Progressing pretty well with it, but don't care for the nose-heaviness of it. From what I understand, the Tau is mu...

Tau-7 User Poll

Curious as to what % of folks use CO2 powerlets versus bulk fill? I've heard leakage problems are more prevalent with powerlets. Seeing as how you get about as many shots either way, the powerlets seem more convenient (though I realize more pricey, too). Also, I learned to live with some leakage in ...

Tau-7 Power Source

Curious what % of people use CO2 powerlets for their guns, as opposed to bulk fill? Also, if there are any others with match-grade guns that use them. Though I can't recall any other guns at this level and up that do??? My understanding, from reading on the topic, is that using the powerlets tends t...

12 Gram Powerlets vs. Bulk Fill

Preface this by saying I'm interested in a Tau-7. I'm not really sure how many other match pistols even give you the option of using powerlets.... To my question: Anyone out there use powerlets on a regular basis (as opposed to bulk-fill)? I had read the guns are more prone to leaks with this method...

For more info/opinions on this gun than you'd probably care to read, check out www.markii.org (if you haven't already). A vast amount of good info on these guns and a very friendly bunch of folks. I don't own one, but my 2 pennies from what I know of them: - Great value for the $ - Historically prov...

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, my 10-per was fine when I started, but it's getting difficult to score.

Thanks again...

Typical shot format for club matches?

In AP-600, is it 6 10-shot targets fired or 12 5-shot targets?

I'm trying to make my practice as realistic as possible.

Thanks

Thanks for all the great input! Read it and put it to practice tonight with a 50 round session. I experimented with trigger finger placement and was able to pull all my shots much closer to center after a bit of trial and error. My last string of shots downright impressed me! Thanks again!

Newbie ? on point of impact...

Know this is a simple one for most of you target guys... But what error in grip, trigger pull, etc causes shots to string to the left? From a solid rest it's right on (so it's not the equipment), but in a ten round string I seem to get half or so out to the left. Elevation-wise they're holding great...

Air pistol clubs/leagues in CT ???

Hi,

Looking for where folks shoot in CT. I've found AP leagues aren't the most widely advertised, but know they're out there. The only one to my knowledge is a winter league which shoots back and forth at a Manchester and Southington club.

Thanks in advance!

IZH 46M source survey?

Curious where folks purchased and what they paid. Thanks!
