Re: Wow

The NRA wrecked the sport when the moved out of Camp Perry against the wishes of a vast majority of the competitors. The CMP is doing a pretty good job of trying to build it back up under their name at Camp Perry. The 3P turnout last year was very good. [/quote] Agree with this 100%. In my opinion t...

Re: Marlin Target Rifle

Marlin 2000 has micro-groove designed for summer biathlon events but many were used as “club” rifles for intro to Smallbore. The model 2000 had a blue polymer stock and the 2000L had a wood green laminate stock. Both were shipped with a detachable magazine, but there was a single shot kit that chang...

The Kowa 82mm and long eye relief eyepiece is the go to gold standard for highpower. Plenty of them on the line for a reason, good price point and optical quality. Along with the reasons quoted the CMP has a proven track record over the past 25 years of promoting the traditional shooting sports and have broadened th...

Re: What gun do you most regret parting with?

For me it was a Walther PP in .32ACP. First year production but did have a reblue sometime in the past few decades. For me I ran it of space in the safe and I did not shoot it that much. Not a week goes by that I regret selling it. Almost always scope out used one on gunbroker but have never bid on ...

Re: Hap Rocketto for NRA BOD

This same topic was discussed between myself and a fellow competitive shooter a few days ago. The way it was explained to me was that if you are eligible to vote you are given one vote. If you vote for the maximum slate of directors which is 23 or something like that your one vote is divided by thos...
