I am interested with that Gehmann trap. I am sure I will handle it more carefully. The Gehmann trap is nice, I have a couple, however they will not accept a B-40 target without trimming. They are designed for ISSF compliant (17cm square) targets available from our host.

Re: reloading technique?
Actually, all your suggestions are correct. But I think the most accurate one is to reload where you are comfortable with in moving.

Re: Bushnell TRS red dot?
I have one, and I've tried it on a couple pistols for Bullseye. I prefer the basic 1" UltraDot for a few reasons, but the Bushnell TRS-25 works well enough: it is consistent (holds zero, adjustments are repeatable), is light-weight, and is fairly robust (will stand up to .45 loads; it'd certai...

Re: No idea what to get... help!
I'm spinning my wheels not knowing what to get! Help talk some sense into me! I have used a buddy's AR20 off and on and it was fine. Didn't love it, felt heavy compared to the couple very expensive rifles I got to hold for half a second. :D My Dad has a huge powder gun collection so I'm familiar wi...

Re: Question about full bore sights
Hello all, I am mostly a club shooter 10 m pistol 50m rifle and service rifle, I have just bought a tikka master sporter at a great price in mint condition. I would like to use it as a 300m free rifle and so I am looking at putting diopter sights on this gun. Trouble is it has 3/8 base as most sigh...

my 2 cents: 3.5 mm seems to be on the standard for most athletes/guns. I've heard of athletes using down to 2.9 mm. My preference is 3.3 mm. Smaller front aperture will help with prone precision but likely hurt standing performance. MR I think precision is better than the standing performance, so y...

I'm assuming you're in the UK and that you are therefore restricted to the long arm pistols. I don't even know which models are made anymore but the Morini is by far the most popular, although I have a pardini. Rob. It is very hard to get free of the restrictions for long arms in UK. Hopefully they...

One other suggestion if your A.L. Post does not have a Boy Scout Venturer Crew you could start one. When you run a Boy Scout Venturing program. You still can do alot of the same programs the reg boy scouts can do. Look into all options before you decide. This program would need a man and a woman to...

I think both of your choices would be perfect for your needs. I have a couple of R7s (basically the same as the HW30). It's very pleasant to shoot and it's light enough and easy enought to cock that a woman or kid would love it. Buy it in .177 and use a light round-nose pellet. The HW50 would have ...

The latest firmware update turns off the score display on the HS10 when a computer running the Siuslane software is connected, and placing the monitor or laptop off to the side of your firing point should minimize distraction. I've never run mine as a standalone target, but the display was pretty b...
