Guru, you have encapsulated my argument entirely. And I may use your phrase "drop the coin" in future.

William, the email address that is definitely alive, is taubrno@taubrno.com.The girl at the end is Veronika and she has been very co-operative. If you get no joy then I can only put it down to racial bias, afterall you guys beat us poor little kiwis in the Americas Cup yachting last week and we are s...

William, I will send you the email address I have been using and getting replies within 36 hours. And you are dead right--I do seek something which is neutral to rearward weight. I am presently dry firing with my Walther CP2 which I bought locally and found half the innards missing and but that is m...

Importing direct from Czechoslovakia. Much cheapr freight than from eg Germany, and brand new cylinders. Cost about the same as a tired gun here in NZ. Otherwise sight unseen,

Why I fancy the cheap-no-longer Tau is because it appears to have the weight back in the hand. Unlike the IZH and almost every other gun such as the Steyr LP10. But one would need the Match model which groups about 5mm compared to the other littler Taus which only do about 7-8mm. About the same grou...

Rover, what's wrong with them? Not that I don't believe you, I do I do, I do. I'm guessing that with the insistence internationally now on cylinders less than ten years old, they may experience a resurgence in popularity.

OK J-Team, what have you got for me? I've about had a gutsful of this gun. I get the cylinders working then find gas leaks right thru the gun and out the barrell and breech, pull it apart and find no o rings inside and push valve. If I buy those overseas, there is no telling whether other parts migh...

Incidentally, does anyone happen to know the cost of buying two new cylinders from Walther. Mine, on a CP2 I have recently bought, have needed seals and springs replaced and rust cleaned out. And are still leaking!!!

Using the wrench to loosen the cylinder would damage the o-ring and create an outburst of co2. You have to find a way/making a device of releasing the pressure after you have turned off the gas from the master cylinder. DON'T use force, use sense.

Hell, that last post of mine sounded like I was regarding good advice as experimentation. I wasn't. Rover's was the most succinct and others echoed him and that's good enough for me. I was just reading Nygord's stuff and succinctness is beautifully mixed with humour. Thanks guys (polishes off the ol...
