SHOTS PER FILL-FWB-SCUBA

I have some questions regarding PCP, SCUBA tanks and cylinders. How many shots per cylinder fill should I expect from a FWB 700? How many cylinders can I fill with a SCUBA tank? I don't expect answers to be that exact but just to have an idea. It seems that I can have a good deal on a SCUBA tank. Th...

I hope that helps and give you an idea.

I should be paying something like that when it gets here, maybe a little less.

GAMO MATCH - PRO MATCH

Do you have any experience with this pellets or do you consider them WAL-MART type.

The PRO MATCH seem ok to me, maybe not as good as H&N, RWS, JSB, etc.

Thanks

I'm in the same situation, but I just shoot standing.

I will get the glove first, then jacket and last the pants.

I agree with this.
If you aspire to the highest levels you will be at a competitive disadvantage without the pants, jacket, and boots.
My 2 cents

This may be a dumb question but what did you guys mean with a "batch" or "lot" of pellets?
A 500 thin?
A ten 500 thin package?
What does it means?

Thanks

Thanks everybody for your comments they where very important on making my final decision so I just ordered a FWB 700 UNIVERSAL with an additional cylinder. I found some guys around who have hand pumps, so I can refill with their help until I can get my own one. It will take some time to get the rifl...

MATCH PELLETS - PRACTICE PELLETS

Do you guys always use the same pellets, or you have different choices. Tell me if I'm wrong or what, but from what I understand one should use the pellets that performs the best in your rifle/pistol, in that way you lower almost to nothing external failures, so you can concentrate on your own perfo...

Does it makes sense to pay $2375 for a new FWB603 Laminated Stock, when you can buy a FWB700 Lam.Stock for $2465? From what I understand both of them have the same accuracy, performance, so they are about the same. And it makes sense when it's not easy to find a place/someone to refill it, unless y...

Thanks for the replies! TWP: I don't shoot in prone just standing. mjfa: is the cocking effort in this rifle that hard? I really don't think the cocking effort to be that bad in this level of rifle, but I know the less effort from the shooter the better. I'm not in US, I'm from Panama so things are ...

FEINWERKBAU 603-GOOD OR BAD?

What are your thoughts on the FWB 603? I'm about to order one. I know that the best way to go this days is precharged. What I like about it is that it has its own air source, no need for refilling air cylinder or co2. Another point is that it's not easy to find a place/someone around here to refill ...

ADVANTAGE OF LAMIINATED WOOD STOCK

I'm saving some money to buy a FWB 603 air rifle. I've noticed that almost every match grade air rifle comes with "laminated wood" stocks among other options. What are the advantages of using laminated wood instead of say walnut, beech or others? BTW what are your opinions on this rifle? I...

AIR RIFLE TRAINING PROGRAM

What's a good beginner training program for air rifle? I don't have a trainer or someone with enough knowledge on air rifle shooting to guide me in the best direction. I know the best way will be a trainer but we have no trainer around so I have to practice by my own. I've learned the basics but I w...

FIRST TIME SCORING!

Yesterday was the first time scoring points with official 10 meter targets, I made a 468, with a TAU-200, Gamo match pellets and no shooting jacket. Yes I know I know, it's not a great score, and not the best equipment but I think it's not bad for a rookie like me. Do you guys think a shooting jacke...

FRONT APERTURE SIGHT ALIGNMENT

This is my first post, I've found lots of interesting information on this site. I'm beginning on air rifle shooting and I use a Tau-200 air rifle which I think is a good beginner's rifle. I need some help, what's the right way of positioning the target on a round concentric aperture front sight. I'v...
