If you are putting them all through one hole 3 per target If you are putting some through the same hole I'd go 5 If you are putting them all on the black I'd go 10 If you can't get them all on the card the sky's the limit. Interesting, according to these "rule of thumb" (to give it a name...

Sorry if I wasn't too clear, I'm talking about my practice shots. I shoot air rifle, and I usually make ten shot groups. Somebody made a good statement that when they are so many shots I really can't tell the sequence of each one. I think three or five should be more than enough for me. For the one ...

SHOTS PER GROUP

What is the average number of shots per target when practicing?
I did a search and all that I found was someone who shoos like twenty shots in air pistol.
I use to shoot ten shots, but I don't know is it ok, or should I just shoot like three or five.

Thanks for any help

PELLETS SKIRTS

What is the difference/advantages/disadvantages of the slick/smooth and the dented type skirt pellets. All the "match grade" pellets I have seen are slick/smooth type, what is the reason for these? Yes I know one of those dummy questions but ....huh why not! Thanks in advance for any infor...

FWB 700 SIGHT ADJUSTMENT

I feel a little dumb asking this question, but that's why we all post in here. I have a question for those of you with any experience with the FWB 700 sights or similar. When I try to adjust the sights turning the knobs I feel like 5-10 little clicks then one big click. My question is, the sight mov...

THE WAIT IS OVER-FWB700 UNIVERSAL

Hi everybody! It's been a long time not posting on this great site. Well after almost 9 MONTHS, the rifle is here. To make a long story short, the rifle was "lost" in the mailing box, so I had to wait for a replacement. But it's definately worth the wait, this thing is beautiful, I ordered...

FEINWERKBAU SHIPPING SERVICE

Hi everybody it's been a while since my last post/thread on this forum, because I have been waiting for my FWB 700 UNIVERSAL. It's almost 4 months and the rifle hasn't reach here. I order it from my country's FWB dealer, and as of today they said that the consignment might be lost or something, and ...

Re: ways of the rifle

Everyone needs a good ISSF coach. The books mentioned are excellent but a good coach to set you up properly in the beginning is a lot more important. Definately if it's easy to find an ISSF coach around, since that's not the case for most of us. We have no coaches in my country, so I'll keep readin...

I hope someday I can make groups like the ones TWP posted by my own....jk

Very interesting the results from TWP and durant7, btw in another post I was asking on opinions on the GAMO pellets, but now the results just showed up on durant7 test.

I'm still waiting for my FWB700 to make my test.

SHOOTER'S AGE

Well there have been some posts on first match scores, feeling on shooting, and so on.

Now to sum it up what's your age?

YESSSS I did a search and didn't found anything.

Lets begin, I'm a newbie in air rifle shooting and I am 34.

Welcome to the sport 2002man. I'm a beginner too but in air rifle (standing), and from what I've heard that book is the way to go. Right now I'm reading William Krilling's Shooting for Gold and it's pritty good (I think) for my level. It is very easy to understand and covers almost everything a begi...

TWP There are a lot of folks here that know the business way better than I do. I guess yes, but I said that because you two gave nice 'n clear advices. This topic has always been of my concern but with everybodys comments I got the idea. the P70 Jr's seem to like most any "match grade" pel...

To the original poster, I shoot just for the joy of knowing that I am in total control of the situation, every mistake is mine, I don't have to blame anyone for the results, it is just me and my performance, my own fault or success, to compete against myself. And the list goes on 'n on 'n on. My 2 c...

SHOOTING APPAREL MATERIAL CHOICES

I already did a search on this topic and found no answer. What are the pros 'n cons between canvas, leather, heavy cotton, and other materials in shooting apparel. Also: What should I look for when ordering glove, boots, shooting jacket and pants by email. Is it just like ordinary cloth or should I ...

I emailed FEINWERKBAU and they said I should expect 250 shots per cylinder (I ordered two).

At an estimated 6000 shots per SCUBA tank it's definately worth having one.

Thanks for your replies.

I kinda think just like TWP said. This is the best so far for me: I see no reason to practice with a substandard pellet. RobStubbs: From a 5000 or 30,000 lot how can you know if that's the best ammo for the different guns in your club? Different guns like different ammos. Or is there something that ...
