It is also personal preference, the LP10's are good. I shoot a CM162EI, I prefer the electronic trigger, on a single shot air pistol, they are very reliable and offer easier dry firing, although this can be done on an LP10 by just not closing the breach all the way, but needs cocking every time. Yes...

Sorry, Rob. It is NOT too simplistic. Any putz can hold the gun up with the sights in alignment. Squeezing the trigger while doing that is a whole new ball game. But have you noticed the importance of the front sight specifically, responsible for tight groups as opposed to the whole sight picture. ...

Long Vs Short Air Morini

As I started shooting at a young age and bought my first air pistol when I was probably around 12, I opted for the compact Morini CM162Ei. Now 18 I am considering a change. I have looked at the full size next to mine and the sight radius is exactly the same meaning no improvement in accuracy in that...

All pistols being unique, most people at my clubs Pardini's take pistol King, mine wont, I have had the Eley match and Eley pistol match (both with round heads, the match was quite old) working through my gun with a shorter recoil spring. Today I tried new eley match with the flat head and a small n...

Like I said all ammo unless very low velocity (e.g. RWS Pistol Match SP) goes fine through the gun, it is a standard SP not the rapid fire (For example the RWS ammo works fine through these due to the lighter bolt etc). SK, will shoot thousands and only malfunction for maybe the first 5 shots after ...

Pardini SP and Eley Tennex

I will be going away in approximately a month to shoot air and rapidfire pistol. I was told a short while ago that I will be unable to take my own ammunition, SK pistol match and all that will be supplied is Eley Tennex, bog standard not the pistol variety. My Pardini as many others seems not to lik...

Dry fire has shown me that I kant and thus foresight is naturally to the right before coming across, I actually believe my trigger is not far enough forward as unless my finger is further in than I know it should be the mid phalanx is aiming slightly out although it should be straight. My middle fin...

SCATT Results and suggestions!

A few months ago I trained with a SCATT unit and repeated this yesterday and the results are consistent. My trace is around the 6 and 7 until subconsciously I pull across just before my shot. I know I naturally cant and will hopefully be getting my grip adjusted soon. However when I consciously unca...

The source of the rumour is yourself. Just buy one and you will be happy with it. have heard enough to satisfy me, tha...

If this fear of cracked barrel was found, does anybody know how good Pardini are with customer service? e.g. sorting problems and replacement etc. An interesting tactic you use (reminiscent of the tabloid press): To assert that there was a problem ("cracked barrels") Then refuse to identi...

True, I did recently try to find some distracting material on youtube etc to use whilst dryfiring but is difficult to find any good stuff. The ranges I train at are usually quite which is annoying as this is unlike the championships etc. Do you know where I can find any content to use or how to best...

60 shot concentration

Has anybody got any tips or tricks for keeping concentration through a whole 60 shot air pistol match. Currently hitting the mid 530 consistently and once or twice 540+ but would like to consistently hit that with the odd 550 this year. Reasonable shooting for 5 string, example broken up by two or t...

I would dare to say that because you couldn't find any sources for your stories, and by the way the others responded, that it would be pretty safe to buy a new one. If there was something catastrophically wrong with the most common pistol used by top shooters all around the world (in RF), it would ...

Ok, thank you guys, might go with it! Never had to deal with Pardini myself due to highly reliable and nothing going majorly wrong with my SP.

Recently I have heard that the newer models have had problems with cracking barrels and even been boycotted by some of the better rapid fire teams e.g. Germany Ah, that is asking for sources. Must be why Christian Reitz and Ralf Schumann and almost everybody else are using late model Pardinis for R...

Your first post seems a bit like trolling, I've been shooting a Pardini since 1985/6 and never heard of a barrel cracking. If you have a source please site it. If not edit your post please. If you read the post you will see it applies to the new models, specifically the Rapid Fire models. E.g. I be...

Pardini SP RF

I'm looking at purchasing a Pardini SP RF (Rapid fire) pistol at the end of this year. Mechanical trigger as despite the loss of dry fire capabilities I have seen and heard of problems with many makes and models especially the Pardini. Recently I have heard that the newer models have had problems wi...
