Vendors at the Olympic Complex

My cylinder is out of date and we were wondering if there was a place we could get a new cylinder when we get there. My rifle is an Walther LG300 Junior.

Hannah ... Are you looking for info on: the USA Shooting Junior Olympics in April (now) in Colorado Springs --or-- the CMP 3-P JOs where USAS "lends" the Olympic term to CMP (mid summer in Anniston or CAmp Perry)? The USA Shooting Junior Olympics for Rifle, Pistol & Shotgun informatio...

Since the Junior Olympics (assuming you mean the USA Shooting Junior Olympics) are taking place right now, you are correct. You would need to shoot in your state qualifier and shoot a qualifying score or win your state qualifying match. The state qualifying matches are usually in the November-Janua...

Junior Olympics

Now from what I understand it's too late to qualify for the Junior Olympics. But I was just wondering what you would have to do to qualify for them. I think you have to shoot in a few specific matches but I may be wrong. Does anyone know exactly what to do cause I plan on trying for it next year.

The AR20 is a entry level precision air rifle and yes the AirForce is a sporter air rifle. The AR20 is actually a fairly decent air rifle for the price as it has all of the features of a match gun (Walther Lothar barrel, 2 statge match trigger, adjustable stock) for a fraction of the cost. I've nev...

Precision or Sporter?

I've been thinking about getting a new rifle and I see two that I'm interested in but I can't find out if they are precision or sporter. They look like they might possibly be precision rifles but I can't tell. Could anyone tell me what they are? -Hammerli AR20 Silver Pro -AiForce Edge (pretty positi...

Well I shot the best I could. Nerves just got to me and I ended up with a 578 and 583. I came in 20th overall for precision and 8th for Army. Pretty decent for my first time but next year I'm gonna be first.

Well, we got news today that one of the top 10 dropped out so I moved to 10th place and will compete in the JROTC Nationals in Anniston, Alabama. I had competed in the Army and Airforce JROTC Nationals but now I'm gonna be up against the Navy and Marines too. So if any of you are near there ya'll sh...

The sling I'm using was used for several years by another shooter and when she left the school it was given to me and I've had it for 3 years now. We don't have any leather slings, we just have more synthetic slings that are too long for me cause our JROTC program is pretty limited. And my hand does...

Can you remove the rail & turn it around?
You might have to drill new pilot holes in the stock, but that's no biggie.
I'm not sure but I could ask my Major. I haven't thought about that though

Second thought; You commented your arm is stretched way out..... It did not look that low to me. In your picture it looks like you use an "over the knee" elbow placement. Have you ever tried "behind the knee"? You can go up to 6" behind the knee with your elbow. My daughter...

It's not the best kneeling roll but it has helped a lot more than the other one has.

Thank you for all the tips. I have the top two buttons of the jacket buttoned though and in that picture I was using a smaller kneeling roll than what I normally use. It's filled with rolled up foam padding and I'll put a picture of it up so you can see. I shot with it in my competition today and at...

Hannah, You stated your kneeling role is "packed full". Without seeing your kneeling roll, I would guess from that satement that you have way too much fill in your roll. If it is still filled like if came new, you probably need to remove half of it. I know that has nothing to do with your...

I don't see a lot of shooters using gloves on the "trigger" hand. Most precision air rifles have a very light trigger and a glove could interfere with the feel of the trigger. If you want to use one though, you might try a football recievers glove. Available at places like Academy Sports....

Trigger gloves?

I was wondering what kind of gloves could be used for trigger gloves. Do they have to be "qualified" or whatever or can you just get a pair of something like cycling gloves at Walmart?
