Re: Free pistol match ammo

for training purpose, I'm shooting CCI - it's just cheap, so you can practice more with the same money. For competition, I use RWS Pistol Match SR since I sometimes had lower loadings at the CCI so it went down in a 5 or 6 instead of a 9 or 10.. (you can even hear it..) But I haven't tested how accu...

Re: Vertical strings on targets

If you have vertical scattering in one line, you should work on your breathing technique. Do you do one or two stops at breathing? (inhale going up, exhale going down to aim point OR inhale going up, exhale going down to top of the target, inhale second time and exhale while going down to the aiming...

Re: WC Pistol setting bad examples

Regarding the thing at WC Munich. The command was very quite so also I haven't heard it completely and everyone was wondering what is going on. I think the shooters also haven't understood that there was a break. I don't know if it's in the video, but one of the officials went to Yang Sun (while the...

Re: Shooting AP at 5M Instead of 10M

I have a similar situation currently since I'm just planning my house and in the standard design, I have 8.88m from one wall to the other. Now 0.9m will be ok for me to stand, leaving 8m to the wall (reducing by the backstop about 10cm) I'll have about 7.5m to 8m disctance to the target. Will this h...

Re: training air pistol targets

-The triangle is to train to hold the gun horizontal. you can easy align the sights with the edge of the triangle or see if you hold the gun inclined (right word in english?) -The "normal" target without rings is to not concentrate on the score you shoot. -The horizontal bar is to see if y...

Re: European Championship - Walther LP400 takes Gold

btw. not only winner of the EM (Philipp Grimm), also 2nd (Damir Mikec) and 6th (Manuel Heilgemeier) shooting Walther. Damir even shoots the old LP300. And they have won the German Bundesliga (highest league) with their team that is sponsored by Walther and all shooters except for 2 are shooting Walt...

Does anyone of the MG2 shooters own or ever shoot a Pardini SP?
I don't have any chance to shoot the MG2, only tryed the AW93, GSP und Pardini SP and the Pardini is at the moment the best choice..

Can anyone compare the Pardini with the Matchguns?

DHL doesn't ship Weapons of any kind (except knifes) internationally since 2007.

UPS should be no problem, as far as I remember my uncle sold some ARs to Canada & USA with UPS..

with 82mm across the knuckles, the M would be a little bit too big.
My hands are 85mm and I owned a M and a S grip - M too big, S too small..
(But the M is better then, you don't need to fill up so much with compound.)

@conradin: The LP300Club and LP300XT have the same balance and weight positions. The only difference is the compensator, the 5D grip and that the additional weights are included in the sales price. I had the LP300 when I started shooting AP, but sold it after 3 moth.. As already mentioned, the balan...

I have a pair of Corami Pistole Shooting shoes, but will try my Vibram five fingers for shooting.
Maybe more freedom for the feet will be better.

Neon21, do you have cross dominance as well? never thought about this. I don't know which eye has the better values - next week I'll have an appointment with my ophthalmologist (what a word..), then I will see if I have a cross dominance. Until know I just shoot right hand / right eye because it's ...

I’m 24 years old too and have nearly the same problem with nearly the same values due to a corneal irregularity. (I only wearing prescription lenses when watching TV in HD or driving at bad weather conditions) I see the front sights very good, the rear sights are not that sharp and the bull is very ...

I think a pneumatic spring pistol is the right way to start if you don't want to spend much money. Like a FWB 65 or if you have a little bit stronger arms (because it’s heavier) a FWB 100. At least at the FWB 65 has a recoil so you can train for FP. CO2 is cheap at the moment because nobody wants th...

unfortunately used newer pistols are very rare..
Especially the E-Versions and the newer versions where the teething problems are already fixed. :(

However, if it would be the SSP, I hope that Walther has a demonstration model of it, then it will be cheaper anyway..

thanks all for your answers. First, I'm only partial into RF and don’t want to put all my energy into this since RF is not very common here I will focus on standard since there are more competitions, though it’s only for men up to the German Masters. Pardini is good but way too expensive for me, it ...

MG2-E or SSP-E

Hello All, I've chosen the above mentioned two models for 25m pistol. Main question: Which one should I take? Here are my considerations: Price: Both would cost nearly the same, so 1:1 Handling: -Since I shoot both, standard and rapid fire I’m interested in how easily the trigger can be switched fro...
