Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk

I will get Federals backing out of Lapua cases in my 32 S&W GSP.
I guess it will depend on how tight the primer pockets are and flash hole size. This would vary from brand to brand.

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk

Thanks Guys.

I will go with a 4 cavity Aluminum mold in the smaller mold block.
Will report back when it arrives and I start casting.

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk

Hi Guys,

For the people that have purchased a mold from accurate Molds have you gone for a Brass or Aluminum mold?
I am not sure how the heat profile of the brass mold will affect this very small bullet and if it would be too hard to keep the mold at the right temp.

Thanks

Re: Walther GSP 32 6 shot Mag questions.

Perfect. I have a couple of 5-shots that have been modded to 6-shot. I need a couple more so I though I would try the new 6-shot ones.
My GSP has also had some work done on the feed ramps to improve the feeding.
Sent you a PM.

Thanks,

Walther GSP 32 6 shot Mag questions.

Has anyone used the new (not sure how long they have been around) 6 shot 32 magazines for a Walther GSP?
Over here in Oz we modify the 5 shot to 6 for one of the matches we shoot with the GSP and was wonder if a better option would be to buy the 6 shot now that there is one?

Thanks for any comments.

Re: LP400 Absorber

Love to get it apart or even see the CAD model to see how it works. I can't see how the air can act directly on the magnet. There are two closed holes at which can be see in the picture that the magnet sits over. For air to get this far down the Tappet it has to pass through the larger mid section w...

Re: LP400 Absorber

Shot a bit of a practice match tonight. Out of 60 shots I did not feel the absorber activate and visually check nearly every shot and it was still in the forward position connected to the Tappet. After 30 shots I unscrewed the bleed screw in the frame at the back of the absorber channel to see if it...

Re: LP400 Absorber

Thanks David based on the information that you have supplied my absorber is not working. I doubt that it has every work constantly. Maybe 1 in 100 shoots. The attached picture is how my model absorber is shown in the exploded diagram. When disassembled my Slide Tappet looks as if it has been pressed...

Re: LP400 Absorber

How do I know if the LP400 absorber is operating? I have attached a picture (not my pistol) of the slot where I can see the absorber but it does not change position when I fire it with a pallet in the chamber. When the absorber moves towards the rear after firing does it stay there? Or will it rebou...

Re: LP400 Absorber

Hi David What indication did you get that the absorber was blocked? With my LP400 every now and then when I take a shoot a I can feel a secondary movement for the gun. Bit hard to explain. It there is no muzzle movement it the shot feels great. Most of the time I can not feel that so I am not sure i...

Re: What advantage does .32 ACP have over .32 S&W Long for B

What about deep seating one of the 60gr 31-060A cast SWC in a 32S&W long case so the top of the projectile is level with the case mouth? Currently do this with a 100gr SWC in 38 SPL case for a really light load. Of course in the 32 auto would need to drive the 60gr SWC hard enough to cycle the a...

I tried 1.4g of Trailboss behind a .314 swaged HBWC. Nice little group with one just low touching the cloverleaf of 4.

Will get some N310 as Tb will not meter as this low of weight and I have to trickle every charge.

Does anyone have any starting load data for clays (as30) or universal (ap50n)? I am using starline cases and a cast 93gr BNWC. The starline cases look more like a +P as the base is very thick and the tarper starts about 1/2 down. Went to start at 1.6gr of trailboss and it is almost 100% load density...

Great info guys. I have made up a full length expander that measures .314 I have tried a couple of cases, Lapua, GECO and Starline. I have no issues with the Lapua or GECO but the Starline bulge about 1/2 way down the case dues to the thickening of the Starline case. This would be about 3/4 of the l...

You could try washable black hairspray.
It looks black (except when you compare to a flame back, then it looks a little grey) and works well. Easy to clean off and you don't need to worry about carbide and the fun that goes with that.

Thanks for all the info.

The Walther is a GSP expert, so the chamber is a little tighter then the older GSPs.

I will need to do some work on my dies.

32 bullet and barrel sizes.

Hello I have a question for the 32 S&W Long uses. I am planing on loading a .314 swaged HBWC for a Walther GSP. I still need to confirm if this will get swaged during the loading process as the barrel has a tight chamber. I will also need to slug to barrel to ensure that the chamber is not too t...

Is it leaking from the cylinder or from the valve? One night when i was shoot my Lp400 was acting up with a couple of "soft" shots now and then. It then proceeded to dump the cylinder full of air through the firing valve. Turns out the the o-ring that keeps the valve in place popped off an...
