The following advice is easy to say but hard to do. But they all work. 1. Be well rested and don't eat a big meal at least 2 hours before you shoot. No sugar drinks at least 2 hours before shooting - water only till you finish the match. 2. Check that all your equipment is packed - pistol including...

It will only be cost effective if air pistols are not classified as a firearms in Germany ( I'm pretty sure that may be the case ) and can be sent by post as, about 18 months ago, they changed the rules and all firearms must be sent by air freight - the costs of which are quite high from Germany. I...

A couple of nitpicks; At 8.6 metres a 10 metre target is frankly HUGE. Scaling isn't only a percentage, but a percentage with compensation for the fact that the pellet diameter remains constant at 4.5mm, not scaling. So targets scaled for 8.6 metre use would likely be closer to 83% (guessing, from ...

You should train your mental skills as well so as to be able to re-focus and avoid distractions. Another tip is to think of nothing but...

What would those maintenance issues be? I've had one since just after they were released, have had no issues and there's no maintenance just like my LP10. I haven't even changed the batteries yet. I am a newbie , wanting to buy a gun of my own , asked around in my club , this was the comment made b...

Any of the brands mentioned (Steyr, morini, FWB, Hammerli, Walther) can do well. You need to show up at a match and ask shooters if you can try them (after the match would be polite). Also note shooting a PCP you'll need a tank. Tanks that are equipped can run from $200 (used for steel) to $800 (ne...

Re: New shooter looking for first pistol advice
Hi everyone, my name is Kyle. I'm new to 10 meter pistol shooting, but not new to airguns. I've been shooting rifles for years and have also had an IZH46M for a short period of time, but never got serious about shooting with it and sold it. I've recently gotten a renewed interest in trying 10 meter...
