Re: beware ISS

I have dealt with Neal Stepp for a long time and a more honest person you are not going to find.

Scoring System

I have seen this exact system on this website before-maybe two years ago. A search check might bring it up again.

If you were more knowledgeable about history, which you are obviously not,you would notice a trend in the dictator type countries, that the first thing done is to restrict firearms for the masses-along with their freedom. Most Americans do not want to wait for that to happen. Feel free to go to those ...

Utube Video

Interesting and valid comparison. The only difference I see in this video between A.H and slick Barry Soto- is one individual has a mustache.

NRA Life Membership

I became a life member in the mid 1950's and if memory serves, it was less than $100-glad I did. :-)

10X rifle

Sorry to hear about your poor quality rifle-you should return it and get your money back-if possible. You should also write a documented letter to the company with your findings-the person responsible for this kind of workmanship should be dealt with.Didn't the company accuracy test the rifle?? Shou...

Swaged or cast

Tom-if used at target velocities most lead bullets won't cause leading.I have used both brands and they are accurate. I might say the swaged bullets are SLIGHTLY more accurate possibly due to the tighter weight variations and possibly -being softer-faster obturation characteristics.I consider a 200g...

Small Pistol Primers

I totally agree with Perkins-get rid of the 45 cal casings that use small pistol primers. I don't care why the manufactures do this, except cost savings, but it jams up most semi auto reloading presses.

Mike M. Reply-32 S&W WC Bullet

I have suggested this to Match Guns(HP 32 cal) as far back as 3/4 years ago and I don't think they changed the twist yet. I am sure the Europeans realize that their 32 S&W target pistols shoot more accurate at 50 yards with a faster twist (like 1:10) and since they they do sell to the USA market...

Reloading Soft Bullets

I have found, when reloading soft lead bullets, such as commercially swaged bullets, this method works best for me. In the interest of less wear and tear on the brass as well as ease of the expanding step I use a LEE oversized carbide resizing/decapping die. From Dave Wilson I use an expander/belling ...

Cast Bullets

If your bullets mike out at .452 then an expander/flare die of .451 shoutd be OK. On ebay or our forum a guy named Steve Bathe makes a bullet seating stem which seats on the SWC shelf-which is pretty good.

It is too bad Hi Standard can't come out with this pistol today. If they would keep the price reasonable perhaps more people would be attracted to this kind of shooting.Cheers

MG2 and CM22M

I have both the CM22M RF and the Matchgun MG2 and they are both very reliable and accurate. Initially the MG2 had some teething problems but Matchgun company sent me a new bbl/slide assy and it works flawlessly now.The CM22M is a steel unit and is less than two years old.Cheers.

You might also try VV N310 for 185/200gr LSWC. It seems to burn a little cleaner-but it is more expensive. Perhaps your pistol will like this powder.

But if he is unreliable,non-communicative,unskilled and other forum members have complaints about him/her-tell us about it. Give us his name and your story-if y...
