As long as it isn't higher than one meter, to comply with rule 8.6.3, you can use it.

For target shooting, under MLAIC rules, you want a close frame revolver. The two best are, in my opinion, the 1858 Remington New Army and the Roger's&Spencer revolver. Air pistol = karts
25m 22lr = nascar
25m CF = rally
50m free pistol = F1

If you can drive a kart very well, you can drive anything else...
