I received a solicitation from this insurance agency for our range and club.
Not recommending or suggesting. Just throwing it out there.

Re: 22LR Dryfire training

Here's an inexpensive fix for a dry fire plug. https://flat5.net/writing/bullseye-2/trash-can-snap-cap/ I also remember seeing a piece like the one described in wood but made out of a hard plastic material. I think it was cut out from a piece of Delrin or similar material. Both blocks worked and sto...

Re: SCUBA/SCBA Tank Fills in SF Bay Area

John, Aquans in San Carlos has reopened under new management. I used to refill the club's tank there until they closed for two months last fall. For the past few years, I've been going to Scuba Fusion in San Mateo for refills, annual inspections, and a certification. Just filled both the club's tank...

Re: SCUBA/SCBA Tank Fills in SF Bay Area

Found most dive shops will fill a 200 Bar tank. Not sure about 300 Bars though. Have used Capt. Aquas in Hayward, Alameda Dive Shop, Sports Chalet, and several shops on the peninsula. I did find some places ask about having a dive card but when told it was for a PCP, they didn't ask again. Most stor...

Jr, I don't mean to hijack this thread but I thought I would say "thank you JR" for the kind words. I'm glad you and your son had a good time at that match and even better to see you got involved in competitive shooting. As you and the OP discovered, 10 meter AP is a lot of fun and also a ...

Re: RIKA fails to install on Win7-x64

Norm, Congrats on getting the Rika configured w/ your unique setup. Yes, the serial port settings is 9600 baud, No parity, 8-bit length, and 1 stop bit. The only other oddity you may run into is the interrupt or IRQ is not set at 4 for Com 1. I agree that it would be good if the Rika software recogn...

I never did point out this...but in NorCal for the last two years I have YET to see a CO2 gun being used for a PTO. But then maybe I might have missed the PTO that a person with a CO2 showed up. On the other hand, plenty of FWB65 and SSP. Not true. There are several competitors still using CO2 pist...

For 500g, it'll roughly be your plastic bottle + the wire + about 480ml of water. Accurate to within a couple of grams at ambient temperature. If it makes you self-conscious, spray-paint the bottle silver or matte black (leaving a small window open to see the water level of course), re-weigh it aft...
