Re: Morini v Pardini Rapid Fire Pistols

Pardini all day long. No-one at the top level of RF is using a Morini.

Pardini reliability is second to none. Mine is 19 years old and still going well.

Barcelona 300m venue

Odd question, but does anyone know what/where the range used for the 1998 world champs 300m in Barcelona was?

Re: 10punkt9 ordering questions?

I have ordered from them about 8 years ago. The quality is probably not quite as good as genuine Steyr cylinders but still, very good and they are still working well with no problems or leaks.

I'm in New Zealand, so can't comment on shipping to USA but mine arrived here without any problems.

Re: IZH CM-2 rifle problem

The striker (the part with the pin the protrudes out the back of the bolt when cocked) needs to be de-cocked (at the bottom of the cam) to re-assemble. Once there just push & turn the front section to re-assemble and cock the bolt in one movement.

100% agree. Also its pushed by the clothing manufacturers because it equals $$$!

Too bad.
What other sport(s) have a final that is a different format/scoring system to qualification?

25m RFP Proposed changes

Just saw this in an ISSF newsletter: "Gerardo Trotta Arnone, chair of the ISSF Pistol Committee, told ISSF: “Some of the topics discussed could be important for the future of our sport, such as presenting results in a more friendly way for a better understanding and more exciting final competit...

Re: Thoughts on reforming RF

RF is a event were you find out that you suck very fast. It takes a lot of practice to get ok at it, and a lot more to be good. Excellent is another level altogether... Most people egos can't cope with it. It also demands a lot of ammo, making it the more expensive of the 25m ISSF disciplines in th...

The annoying thing is that the Xring, does not coincide with 10.5 (Correct me if I'm wrong).

I also approve of the beer idea!

I had one, it was a disaster. Never again, stick with the mechanical trigger and not have the hassles.

There is a good reason Pardini discontinued it!

Bob
How does that compare to the price that the Walther SSP used to sell for? Here in NZ the SSP was about $1000 more than a Pardini. Hardly anyone bought them! How much is the Pardini in Aus?
