Re: WTB Adjustable Iris Like This One
I'm not sure about that. I have not seen one advertised lately. I am using the plastic one and getting by with it. Would like to find another for my buddy. He's tried mine and likes it but doesn't want to spend the money for the more mechanical ones. Thanks for the suggestion, I might try to find one.

Re: WTB Adjustable Iris Like This One
Sounds like a nice setup Mike. I have a clip on adjustable iris too but it is a little awkward to use. It'll have to work till I find a better setup. Thanks

Re: WTB Adjustable Iris Like This One
I actually use them to sharpen the target and red dot that I use for bullseye. It does sharpen iron sight picture too but I usually shoot indoors and the light is not bright enough for me to shoot irons. So, while this may be a poor design, it does serve the function I want. It is pictured clipped o...

WTB Adjustable Iris Like This One
Here's a picture of what I'm looking for. I haven't seen these sold recently. These are very simple and made from a couple plastic sheets and a rivet. I think they may have been sold in the Gil Hebard catalog and maybe others. I'm wondering if someone has one for sale or knows where one or two might...

Re: Any shooting competitions in Des Moines, Iowa?
Looks like I may have to dig out my high power stuff so I can have something to shoot this summer. I know they shoot at Van Meter and ENGC shoots south of Omaha. I was hoping to find some indoor stuff. Thanks.

Any shooting competitions in Des Moines, Iowa?
My wife is moving to Des Moines to be closer to family and I've decided to follow her :) I've been shooting NRA smallbore rifle and pistol for years and am intrigued by the air pistols I see here. I'm looking for a place to shoot and some competition if there is any. Interested in smallbore or air p...

Re: Rear Sight Questions
OK. I've never used a blinder so I probably don't have to worry about missing anything from the sight.
The spanner wrench in the lower picture is too big to fit the lock nuts on the AHG unit. I need to find one or two of the smaller wrenches to get it off.
Thanks.

Re: Rear Sight Questions
I thought the white plastic washer and the silver disc with the plastic ring around it went on the bottom sight, but maybe not. I don't have a wrench for the top sight so I don't think they came off that. What exactly does the little plastic ring and the silver disc do? I know the one threaded piece...

Rear Sight Questions
Hopefully the pictures will come through. In the lower picture of the Gehman iris, do any of the extra pieces belong to this sight? That center ring is an aluminum disc with a plastic ring around it. And if so, where do they go? The first picture is of the Anschutz iris, I need a spanner wrench to g...

Value of Hammerli 280
A friend at our club has a Hammerli 280 for sale. Actually he has 2 that could be bought. He wants to sell the .32 cal and may be able to be talked out of the .22 cal. Both are like new with a cheap Tasco red dot mounted. Anybody have any ideas on the quality and reliability of these pistols? How ab...

Looking for FWB 603 Owners Manual & Parts
I need an owners manual for a 603. I also am looking for a source for parts, seals and possibly a shop manual if there is such a thing. An electronic source would be fine. Thanks.

Looking for info on a Weihrauch HW660
I've seen one for sale and want to know if anyone has had experience with one. It looks very close to some Anschutz models. Would it compare more closely to the 64 action vs the 54? How about the trigger, how light might it go? I am looking for something for a new shooter to use in NRA 4p gallery ma...

Tell me about an Anschutz 1613
I've never seen one of these but I've found one for sale. How do they differ from and 1813 or an 1807? Are they the 54 action? Thanks.
