foam sources
I found a local "Foam Store" in town. Some medium density foams can also be found at craft stores and fabric stores (used as filler for cushions) and they may be able to direct you to more industrial suppliers if they don't have what you want. Some online sources are: http://www.thefoamsto...

I also found room to include a countdown timer in my case, helpful with the 30 minute 10m air pistol shoots our club hosts. Can find them all over ebay:

cutting foam
i would use david's method if i had one of those blades around - they work great. for this case however i used a larger sized xacto blade (standard pointed shape) and plunge it and saw around on my line like a jigsaw. this cuts between half and 3/4 through my 1.5 inch foam, depending upon pressure. ...

So dug around before cleaning my pistol tonight, got all the different brands i had out and confirmed ...

My new IZH-46M was just waiting for a home, too. About $5 of foam from the local foam shop and this is what i've put togeth...

thanks for suggestions
i'll be wearing a turtle neck and hat tonight, and looking to be to the left of this guy. He's a good guy, and the top shooter last two leagues--so it's not that he needs to help my concentration like bob might! LOL. i just might figure out how to rig up some chickenwire shielding if this remains an...

pellet prep recommended by LOGUN
here is what LOGUN recommends.. i'll be trying this myself just to see what difference i may experience in my higher powered rifles. they cite main reason is to reduce leading. i doubt this would be an issue with my IZH-46M pistol, or plinkers that don't get the pressures so high. http://www.network...

(I still have the burn m...
