Re: Bullseye Pistol?
Does anyone here shoot bullseye/precision pistol? I've been reading up and getting interested in pursuing it, but was thinking it would be worth checking out a match and feeling out the fit before investing myself, as I'm a relatively new shooter. I live in Seattle and normally shoot over at WCA, b...

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk
After reading a ton of threads here on this (my head is still spinning), that really seems like the ideal solution...a custom smaller diameter .32acp barrel would allow one to shoot jacketed and cheaper lead bullets without having to resort to custom expanders and having basically two entirely diffe...

Re: Phoenix Rod and Gun 2015 Postal scores
We did this for the annual NRA match. We won't do this again until late next year. If you want to get in on a real good postal match, look up Inland Empire League on the net. They run a very well done postal for 22lr, pistol and rifle indoor. I think they may have posted something here too. All, Th...

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk
I am not sure you can have a bullet set back too far in a 32 ACP if they are .314 because the case begins to taper about .250 deep. Most of us have expanded the cases to the point that it is fairly easy to push a bullet into the case. I think mine would drop in but for the sticky lube. I can't load...

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk
Hi All, With the talk about sizing and expanding brass. If loading for a semi-auto be careful with "not" resizing before expanding. Bullet set back is possible during chambering can be an issue. I resize with a .329" D.Wilson resizer, case springs back to .331, and then expand with a ...

Re: Loose Hornady XTP .32 acp 60 gr
I think the problem may lay at Pardini's feet......why would you try to shoot a .312" projectile down a .314"-.315" barrel? Maybe Pardini should start a production run of .311" or .308" barrels. Then They'd be more inline with what works at 50yds in the .32 S&W long and ...

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk
Hi Trooper Jake, I'm using the 60gr XTP and both AA molds (31-060 & 31-065) and am actually getting better groups with the 065, plus the seating stem has the same setting as the 60gr XTP. Still getting 10 ring groups at 50yds with the XTP no matter what powder I use as long as I use 1.6gr of vv-...

Re: Pardini HP 32, ammo talk
When everything is working right in the 32 ACP Pardini, your cases will be bulged. The case is made for a bullet around .310 or so but the Pardini barrels are around .314. This is why I use a .002 larger sizing die. I want the cases to stay bulged. Slow powder however has nothing to do with bulging...

A question for the all; when using slower powders are you getting bulged cases?oldcaster wrote:I always seem to have better results with slow powder too.

Re: 32ACP vs 32 S&W Long for centerfire
All, I've been having good results using the Accurate Molds 31-065H. It feeds much better and is showing the same accuracy as the 31-060H. However, still haven't reached the magic 1" groups some are getting, but recent offhand testing results trump the 45. I need to make a Ransom Rest insert or...

Re: High Standard 106 citation trigger
novagoldn, Another view. The sear bar is softer than the slide or sear. The sear bar notch will wear and over-ride the sear hook or the sear bar disconnector face will wear and won't allow a reset. You can easily see wear and over-riding or reset problems with the grips, sideplate, and saftey remove...
