Re: the TESRO PA 10

I wonder if anyone on here actually heard of the Tesro or has actually tried one ...?? There was a review of the Tesro PA10 in the November 2005 Target Sports Magazine, a British publication. I'm always cautious of magazine reviews but the pistol did get a good review. I don't normally have access ...

I recently purchased a new 162 through a Gehmann dealer who listed the pistol as an EA and put EA on the receipt but the Pistol is marked EI. It has the AAA batteries.

So I'm with David and Matvei

The weight bars designed onto free pistols to make them legal over here (along with longer barrels) come from the reciever back over the wrist to make the total length at least 60cm. Removing them would result in a great deal of porridge, I beleve Rob only removed the short weight bar behind the fro...

Ah, I see.
So it is the rod that stops further travel and moving both leaves to the right on the counter threaded rod will result in them being further to the right when the rod hits the stop.

Hope I have it now.

Many Thanks,

Hi, With the gun zeroed I have the right blade protruding by 2.4mm and the left by 1.2mm with a 5.4mm notch. Full right adjustment gives a right overhang of 2.93mm can anyone else confirm their overhang with full right correction, then I will know there is no physical fault with the sights. I'm reas...

Hi, Thanks David and Bob, I've benched the pistol with a small rear notch and still have only 7 clicks adjutment right available when the sights are spot on as David says less if the notch is wider. I like what seems like almost half the front site width each side and that just doesn't look possible...

Morini 162EI sight adjustment

Hi, I've just purchaced a new Morini pistol and on arrival home, where I have a 10m range shot a group straight out of the box, the MPI was about 20mm left of the centre, I started to wind on a correction to the right but the sight suddenly hit a stop and will adjust no further. I shot another group...

As for buying the pistol just because it was involved with the winning of a Gold medal in the Olympics is kind of silly. Yifu probably trains 6-7 days a week and shooting is a full time job. If you want similar results you would probably be better quiting your job and moving to China and finding a ...

Just out of accuracy in the men’s 10m air pistol Wang Yifu won the Athens 2004 Olympics with a Steyr LP1. The ladies was won with a LP10 by Olena Kostevych. I'm going to buy one or other of these pistols in the next few weeks, so I've found somewhere I can have a good look at both to help me choose....

The rod on the M10 is 100g and the sliding weights are 25 g each. My M10 with a large rink grip was weighed at 1084g at the last comp I shot so 934g with it all removed, a little less with a smaller grip.

Your point 1 is absolutely correct, always raise above the target and lower to your area of aim. If you go to low and you have plenty of oxygen in your system it is OK to raise above that target again and re-lower to your area of aim or if you are feeling like you don't have the oxygen leave the 10 ...

Same pistol as Tanyu Kiriakov who started the final in 6th place, looks a bit like a Hämmerli design but is distinctly different from the current AP40.

Ok then, I'll give you the full version that even accounts for some of the recoil due to air movement. Keep in mind that Mg*Vg = Mb*Vp + Ma*Va I = (Mp*Vp+Ma*Va)/7000*g Vg = g*I/Mg Eg = Mg*Vg^2/2*g Where: Mp = Pellet mass in grains Vp = Muzzle velocity in fps Ma = Mass of the air charge used to prope...
