WTB Left hand grip for a Hammerli 280 gen 1

Hello again. My friend is now looking for a left hand grip for a Hammerli 280 gen 1. The grip should be made for the grip safety (American import requirement). Medium size would be preferable but it would depend on what is available. He is a right handed shooter that has been forced to shoot with hi...

Re: "New" FWB 103

Hi Nick, You have a really nice FWB. I am a little late to the party... I'm one of the "guys from Tucson". I'm glad the grip you have fits your hand. If you decide on getting a medium size I recommend contacting Neal Stepp. His web site is: iss-internationalshootersservice.com His phone nu...

Re: Frozen trigger adj screws (FWB 65)

This may be a little late but it may help those who need it. A Junior that I was coaching (20 years ago) had a frozen trigger adjustment screw on an Izzy. My gunsmith placed the gun on a mat, supported the trigger from underneath so it wouldn't move or be torqued when the screw was pushed down. He w...

No reply from the OP. Did he lose interest in his own posting?

Re: beware ISS

I purchased a Morini grip from Neal early this year. He declined to take payment until I had inspected it and approved the size and fit on my pistol. Delivery was prompt and service was friendly and professional.

I'm guessing that there is more to this story than has been communicated.

Vince, you requested guidance from experienced and successful competitors yet you make excuses instead of accepting the good advice. I am getting the strong impression that you are waiting for someone to tell you what you want to hear. The success that we experience in our sport may start with some ...

Vince, all previous comments are valid. To help you understand, a very close friend has no home AP range. He just dryfires with his AP & FP (a LOT). He shoots 550 - 560 AP scores. Say it with me - DRY FIRING WORKS! You must pay attention to sight alignment, trigger release and follow through. Pe...

When I purchased my Morini air pistol I ordered an additional front sight that has a width that I prefer. When a fellow competitor and good friend tried my new gun he ordered one for himself and also ordered an optional width front sight. While my front sight blades were perfect, his extra front sig...

Can an old Gehman air pump be rebuilt?

I am writing for a friend who is not a member of Target Talk. He has an old Gehman air pump that now needs repair. He reports that the pump is a sealed unit. Is this true or is there a way to open up and repair the pump? Are rebuild kits available? Sorry, I don't have a model number for you to consi...

That means one of them finished 7th and 8th, the other finished 8th. Or that he mis-read the results. Beaman did finish 8th but Brown finished 3rd the first day and 5th the second day. Brown's finals scores are 180.6 (18 shots) and 137.8 (14 shots). If the OP had been correct you would have been co...

I was taught natural point of aim and it seems to work for me. Obviously it doesn't work for everyone. When I was actively competing it was a fairly uniform position for me. Then I stopped shooting for 15 years and have just recently begun shooting again. Now I find that my natural point of aim vari...

Reporting the results of airgun finals

USA Shooting just reported the shooting results from the annual Bavarian Airgun Championships in Munich Germany last week. I am confused by the reporting of finals scores for the two American shooters, Will Brown and Brian Beaman. Will Brown went to finals twice and they reported 10 shots for his fi...

That is the correct spring but you should not need to cut it. I had a new original spring I compared it to and they are close enough to the same length. After you pull one out of your Toz which has been in the there for a few years it will be shorter. I bought a 10 pack and have fixed a few others ...
