Another option is jdownloader.
As Tycho said avoid the 1080p option.
The files are huge and for watching a shooting match the 720p or even 480p are more than enough.

I strongly disagree. I have a FWB 65 in excellent condition which I used when I was shooting 20+ years ago. I started shooting again and soon ordered a Steyr LP10E. You will find a post I made concerning the recoil of the Steyr and how I expected more from modern technology and it was not so differe...

So far the HN Finale Match batches that I have comply weight-wise with the advertised weights. That is 0,49gr for the pistol and 0,53gr for the rifle labeled pellets. My Steyr LP10E seems to be calibrated from the factory with heavier pellets since it shoots around 155m/s with rifle pellets and 166m...

It looks like the screw pushes on the other side of the barrel weight essentially bending the thin part in the middle so the lower part of the weight clamps the barrel.
I hope this makes sense.

ISSF has already done what it can to help shooters.
Rule 6.2.2.8 simply states that safety or your cylinders is the shooter's responsibility.

That is correct. Usually there is a limit in either the volume, pressure or their product which categorizes pressure equipment. All that taking into account the fluid which is contained. It seems that in this case there is no lower limit on the volume. If somebody is interested here you can find all...

Actually it is neither the ISSF's job nor the manufacturer's. Periodic inspection (which includes but is not limited to pressure testing) for pressure vessels is mandated by each country's legislation. The initial certification of the pressure cylinders (considering most if not all are made in and s...

In my opinion choose the pistol that feels best. Only there are 2 problems with that. 1. Trying all the available pistols is not easy especially as you need to try the correct grip size and even then you will need to modify it. 2. What feels best now will not be necessarily what feels best after you...

Thanks David.
When you say use a standard 10m target I suppose you are talking about using the scatt at the range right?
At home the scatt reports 7m distance so this is the target I print. I suppose it does not matter since I do not shoot live at home anyway.

Various Scatt questions

I just received my Scatt USB. I have already read Scott Shaffer's manual which is very helpful and have also searched the forum which really helped a lot. Yet I still have a few questions some of you might have the answers. 1. Scatt measures the distance from the front of the sensor to the target. W...

Update. I measured the muzzle velocity of my pistol. With the pellets I am normally using (HN Finale Match Pistol 4,49mm) the velocity is around 166m/sec. When I switch to heavier rifle pellets the velocity drops to the factory recommended 155m/sec and the recoil is also reduced. The bad thing is I...

... fire without any recoil and it seems this is not the case. [/u] No recoil, as in none, nix, nada - are you are talking about dry fire? If the pellet comes out the front, 'equal and opposite reaction' is hard to overcome. As mentioned above, the (very minimal) recoil of a modern air pistol CAN b...

I believe it is a shame not to give the chance to an athlete to shoot in his home Olympics. Even if the chances to finish above half the field (as stated the MCS were based to equal Beijing's top 50% performances) the experience an athlete gains from such an event makes him a lot more likely to win ...
