Ever year at this about time we have a family shooting event for the local Swiss community where parents bring their kids to shoot our small bore rifles. Some are so small that even the Anschütz Achiever's stocks are too long for them. I came up with an idea of using barrel mounted Lasers as a confi...

Re: Walther GSP .22 shooting high at 50 ft
Had same problem at 20 yard targets. Rear sight bottomed out , using sub six hold and shots where still over two inches high. with S&B 90gr ammo. Decided to make shims. According to the math, I needed a minimum of .035" higher front sight if impact was 3 inches too high. Used .020" thi...

I have a few stock Swiss Army ones and one with the Dobler adjustable rear and wider front sight, which I have yet to really try out. Maybe tonight if I don't have to call a line. Find a good load and enjoy. Helps not to have to beefy a hand. I couldn't used them when my hands swelled up from Arthri...

Not for me. I use Varga glasses for pistol and rifle without any major concerns. For pistol shooting, using them with the eye blind gives some protection to both your eyes. Short of using a 44mag with something like 2400 powder, which have a reputation for blowing cylinders and tops, not a concern f...

I'd add a bit more sear engagement if I were you first and really clean up the chamber /throat area of any lead or lube deposit. Then see if there are peened areas ion the bolt face on rim cutout and extractor slot. Make sure the extractor is free to move our and over the rim. Try it with cheaper Eu...
