Groups not reflecting sight picture
I am a "serious casual" target shooter, having tried and left the Bullseye fraternity after shooting a dozen matches, in favor of committing that time to other priorities. But I still take every trigger pull seriously when I am enjoying myself at the range, which is why I am more than a li...

Re: Anyone one own a Rock River Wadcutter?
KC has a mil spec SA of mine that he is turning into a wad gun and quoted a very reasonable leadtime; just FYI. Also, ask around of the various RR dealers. I forget who I was going to use; this was just before I decided to go the "build from Mil-spec" route with KC, but the dealer I was go...

Well now "light" at the front being the cause of the 52's moniker as unforgiving, makes sense.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Smith&Wesson 52 unforgiving...
I'm not sure about al this, though I have never owned one. But you guys know how rumors spread and become fact if they're perpetuated. Why I say this, is when you actually calculate the times that the 38 and the 45 stay in the barrel, we're talking a difference between the two that most calculators ...

Re: Recoil buffers and cycling
Yeah I'm taking it out. I was just curious since the rearward travel distance (I think) is set by the height of the plug and the buffer essentially lengthens the plug. Plus I don't feel like tracking round count and replacing at some arbitrary level of usage. And finally, REAL MEN DON'T HAVE ELASTOM...

Recoil buffers and cycling
Bullseye Pistolsmths question I suspect. My Wad gun came back with the above part installed and got me thinking about the designed slide travel. Isn't this travel now shortened and if so how does this not affect ejection? Just curious I suppose since the recent trip to the smith was to lower the eje...

New York Compliant options for upgrade
Since the Benelli MP that I was about to get until I found out that it is an assault weapon, I am looking for input on a step up weapon for 22 stage of Conv. Pistol. My Buckmark, at the point where I am occasionally turning in Ex and M strings, is giving away more points than I'd like. It groups off...

Help with POI shift between slow and sustained fire
For the durration of an entire indoor league (50 feet) now there has always been a dramatic shift in POI between slow and the T/R stages and I'd like some advice on where I can look / what I can work on. With both 22 and the 45, all in the black slow fire, the POI shifts to nearly off the paper (nin...

?????but
What will you be carrying when you "convert" the 1911 for Bullseye?
And why is everyone "carrying?"
Where are you carrying? Walmart?
So many people carrying iron and our country ranked number one in the world in obesity.

Disassembling a 1911
How do you remove the ambidextrous style of safety on a 1911? Is the method something other than the regular "pull out from the left side" that you use on Mil-Spec 1911 style safeties?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You know, this the item in my range bag that has been with me from the beginning, for my high power phase; I bet it is twenty years old and never fails to go bang.

Loading info with 200gr LSWC sought
I have the (Penn) 200 LSWC and am interested in the minmum velocity which this bullet stabilizes at, for both 25 yd and 50 yd lines. I believe that this design duplicates the H&G 68 so hopefully there are many shooters out there using this style bullet. Also if there is any historical test data ...
