I'd definitely recommend having package 'tiers' versus a one size, fits all scenario. For example, if someone is interested in your rifle but none of the accessories then you run the risk of losing out on a potential sale. For example. - Price for rifle only - Price for rifle with sights and rifle a...

I'm not familiar with Gun Works. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6033397/LoadingPlatformSideXSide.jpg I ran into a similar problem with my 540XR. The 'loading platform' is the part is three pieces. The plastic platform with a threaded guide slot for the screw and the guide plate. I don't know what the mate...

Re: anyone familiar with the OCAT laser system?
I'm with OutWest Systems. We've adjusted our return policy to provide a 30 day return window as we realize it could take some time to properly evaluate the system. I hope with that change you will consider the OCAT System. Paul, Excellent. That's definitely a big help. The "new & unused&qu...

Re: anyone familiar with the OCAT laser system?
I like the fact that it'll support live fire at 50 yards. Unless I'm misreading the SCATT or NOPTEL product pages, neither of them do that. The one thing that I don't like about the OCAT system is the 7-day return/exchange window. At $500+ (based on the package) it's much cheaper than the other solu...

Re: ammo or lack of
It's become a game of "who do you know" or how lucky you are with timing. Not to mention a period in time that for most practical shooters just means that we're on the range and the non-prepared are left searching for ammo on empty shelves. Ammo is definitely out there. I receive weekly em...

Cheseboro Rifles has a Savage MK II in a 3 position stock for $700 (new). No mention of what the stock is, who makes it, etc but it looks like it's got more features then the basic stock from Savage. Regarding the 'custom 3 position CZ' as someone who owns a CZ 452 and did a little web research abou...

I think there's a greater risk, too. PayPal's acceptable use policy forbids the use of PayPal to pay for: (i) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories Wow... good to know. I just sold a rifle stock to someone via PayPal. Hopefully I don't have a horror story to report in a coup...

While I don't have the 1907, I do have a later 1807 with the standard stock(angled forestock) that resembles the 1907, difference being that it has a rubber butt pad instead of a buttplate. I don't know if that's one if youre criteria. I train out of LARR almost every weekend and sometimes Tuesdays...

Thanks for your response. Good tip on the 1912, the good news is that the 1907/1914 looks to be at a similar price point so it can still fit within my planned budget of about $3,000.00 (+/-). Never thought about the e-stalking thought process, I like it and truthfully it makes perfectly sense. I thi...

Anschutz 1907/1912 "Hands On" Request
I have somewhat of an odd request but I can't think of anywhere else to put something like this, so I here goes. I'm looking to get my hands on either a 1903, 1907, 1912 or even one of the Anschutz rifles in the precise/aluminum stocks. Here in Sacramento, no one sells Anschutz or is even on the dea...
