I use them. They are a great help. I need a different perscription to see the front sight clearly. The shooting frames allow you to put the optical center of the lens perpendicular to and in the center of your line of sight to the front sight.

Try this - Make a fist as tight as you can, then extend your index finger like you were going to pull a trigger. Try and move the finger in small controlled increments. Do you feel the tension and lack of control. Now make a fist about as tight as a handshake with a 6-year old girl and do the same w...

The Approach of Anti-Gun Groups

My Rant: Anti-gun groups understand that they cannot accomplish all they wish to accomplish at one time. They understand that they must use an incremental approach, as in death by one thousand cuts. These anti-gun groups are overjoyed when gun owners say, gee, that piece of legislation seems reasona...

I like my K2 but would like to be able to move the trigger further to the rear than the present mechanism allows. Does anyone know of an after-market trigger or fix to get the trigger further to the rear. I have small hands, and have modified the grip until it is almost paper thin in appropriate are...

The other day I was watching a new shooter trying to master the load on his new Gamo compact. First he pinched his chest, then his hand closing the pistol.

I showed him he would have more control and leverage by putting the butt on the table when closing the pistol. It worked for him.

Elmas, that pic sort of looks like me standing in my driveway in the bright sun shooting into my garage. I need a big hat to protect me from all the glare.

Also, it looks like you as squeezing the sap out of the grip. Relax a little.

Joe,
I live in Chicago suburbs and would travel to pistol matches in Normal. My daughter is a freshman at ISU.

So Rob, you're saying I should have written down the steps? I did this about a year ago and lost my notes. I now record everything I do to the pistol including sight changes and how many shots I am getting from a fill in by practice diary.

Adjusting Trigger on Pardini K2

I have a K2 and adjusted to trigger to one stage without a stop to try to cure some problems I had. I know want to return it to 2-stage state with about equal weight on each stage with no perceptible movement after sear release. I did not touch the sear engagement. My question is, in what order do I...

I bought my Tau-7 in 1998 and the compensator that Rada sells fits it just fine. It replaces the weight at the end of the barrel that holds the from sight.

Philip,
You will get to a point that any more than 5 shots per target will become hard to score. (Sometimes less on a really good day)

I shoot for score maybe once a week to see how much progress my drills have accomplished.

Keep at it,

Welcome to the sport. Along with all the other advise, you might try putting one target behind the target you are shooting and keep it their for 5 or 6 targets at a time. It might help review trends to you, i.e., trigger control issues. Good luck and keep at it.[/list]

BUY TAU-7!!!!! :)))

When I started out shooting I used a Tau-7 exclusively. I got about 70 good shots from a CO2 powerlet before replacing. I also developed a dry-fire mechanism for the pistol. A drawing can be found on our host's site.
