Mini Spotting Scopes, Free Pistols and the website

Hey folks,
We just got another shipment of NG scopes back in. If you have been calling and been backordered, now is your chance to get one of these great scopes.
We also are expecting another batch of Morini Free Pistols to be here later in the week. We have most of this batch sold too, but have a couple left if you want one, call today.
Regarding Toz, we have imported these at various times to sell new (bearing in mind that perhaps the last ones were produced more than a decade ago and there approximately 300 or so still new from that time). At the present time, we just got 3 very nice used ones in stock and will be putting these up on our used page by the end of the week. However, also at the present time I do not have any new ones on hand. Honestly we have not had enough interest in them lately to justify sitting on them, given the rising Euro value and probably sold the last new one sometime in the spring. We are getting much more request for the Morini 84E but we can certainly bring some more 35s in new in if we have the interest.
Spare parts…. Theres the rub. I do have a limited number of spares on hand. LIMITED. Since these have not been in production for so long, buying spares factory direct is not possible. At various times I have been able to purchase spares from various Russian shooters I meet around the world, but these have not always been the most reliable as lots of coaches and shooters from other countrys are also looking for spares, and if I was not the first in line, then I may have only got a few parts here and there. Soooo, depending on quantity of what we had in stock for spares, we have sold what we could. But bearing in mind that I do still support the US Team on events worldwide, I always have to keep something to travel with, and I want to have some to be able to fix customer’s repair jobs as well, so there are times when I don’t want to sell spare parts because, I don’t have any to spare. And honestly that is where I am at right now. Perhaps Ruig can guide me in getting to good source for spares and we can all breather eaiser. There are no spares at the dealer who has the remaining gun inventory.
Sooo, that’s the news there.
The website, yes we know it’s a tangled knot of poorly connected strings. And has been for some time. As many of you know, Warren does most of the web work, and over the last few years, we have been so busy that Warren cannot do all that he would like to do to the website in between answering phone calls and wrapping packages. So a lot of web posts are done to get a page up to show off a new product, and then go back and put a link in the directroy when things slow down, but that just hasn't happend. When things slow down, it seems there are always something else that needs done. In view of that, we have tried on 3 difffernt occasions over the last 2 years, to hire and train someone who could do the web updates, doing newsletter stuff and a few other odd jobs like packing and phone answering. Unfortantly we have had zero success with that and one was a total disaster that we spent 4 months with, trying to get up speed, and honestly they fouled up more stuff than Warren could fix. We still find things almost on a weekly basis that she screwed up and that has been almost a year ago. Sooooo, perhaps you have noticed that with Warren’s spare time in Oregon he is actively working on the website. Hopefully, he will get it all organized by the time he is ready to leave. I apologize for the difficulties you have had in finding things and hope to get more organized there in 05.
Hope everyone is ready for great year.
