Polarisation Filter

I have a 1913. I don't share or I don't understand, the concept of the Anschutz catalog with regard to the use of the polarisation filter.
I understand the principle of the polarisation filter, but I don't see like it can eliminate the effect of the reverberation. I have used it with success to diminish lateral reflections (I rotate simultaneous of both
glasses) and to regulate the quantity of light that impacts in my eye (I rotate differential among glasses).
In my country we compete in cold time and maybe we don't have enough experience with the reverberation.
