USA Shooting Mourns the Loss of Twenty-Year-Old Trap Shooter

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. – It is with great sorrow that USA Shooting announces the passing of 20-year-old Wayne Romanski, Jr., on Friday, Oct. 29, as a result of a single-vehicle rollover in his hometown of Lake Elsinore, Calif.
Romanski was the bronze medalist at the 2003 National Championships in junior men’s trap and a member of the 2003 Junior World Clay Target Team. Wayne had immense talent and the loss of his leadership and abilities is a blow to the future of international shotgun. He was well liked and well respected in the world of competitive trap shooting and will be missed by all that knew him.
