I have asked the NRA about holding an Open sectional for 3P Air Rifle.
It would be at Harrison, Michigan in Mar, 2005. I was hoping to gauge
intrest by posting this note here. Are their many adult AR shooters out there? Has this been done by anyone reading this? Any adult AR shooters
from michigan read this forum?

Yes i read here frequently, but rarely post. If you host it i will shoot it. But ill also shoot any match you host that i can attend. I think it would be a good idea to get some more matches around here. I think almost all of riverside's memebers or most of them would attend it if there isnt any other match going on that day.

What about international air rifle also? Also what type of range do you have at your facility for smallbore shooting? I have never shot anything but air rifle in that one archery room. Match experience is always good and we are looking for matches.

I just sent a request to the NRA to hold an International AR Sectional in Buffalo, NY. I haven't heard back from them, but since there isn't one anywhere else in 6 hours driving, I am assuming that they will approve me. There just aren't enough AR matches, so I thought I would hold my own!

Max, Harrison only has 50 & 100 yard outdoor ranges for rifle use. I am not sure I am ready to conduct a sectional outdoors. As you know, there are two other clubs who held Junior sectionals in 3P/4P SB & Intl Air here in Michigan. Because 3P Air has never been offered as a Junior Sectional

applied for an 3P AR Open Sectional, Mar 12, 2005.

I would attend an international air match in Buffalo. As long as my work schedule permits.
