Pellets and velocties. How to achieve best knock down results.

I am using a Steyr LP1(compressed air). The gun is great but occasionally you hit the edge and the target does not fall down.

Has anyone experimented with turning up the velocity this type of gun?

Pellet choices particularly wieght?

Jeff; I use an FWB/Morini PCP pistol in IHMSA silhouette, and I have it adjusted to 550 Fps and I use Vogel green's weighing .53g and measuring 4.50 dia......I have never had a hit not go down with regulation auto. re-settable targets, even close hits on the edges. Just my experience......
