an "Open" Air Rifle Match
Friday April 16, Saturday April 17, & Sunday April 18, 2004
Relays: Friday 7:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am, 1:00 pm, & 7:30 pm Sunday 9:00 am & 1:00 pm Limit of 8 shooters per relay, one squad only per relay
Course: 60 shots standing at 10 meters on the AR5/10 target. Iron sights only.
Match will be fired in (3) 20-shot strings with a time limit of 35 min/string.
Shoot-off: We'll hold a "just-for-fun" Finals shoot-off after every relay. Scores will NOT count toward the 60 shot match. The format will be 5 shots, following Intl procedure. A small prize will be awarded to the top finals shooter of each relay.
Rules: NRA Intl rules for Air Rifle will govern. To encourage participation, this match is open to everyone: USAS or NRA membership is not required. To further encourage adult participation, shooters in the Senior age groups (S1, S2) will be allowed to use jackets with straps, however, those particular shooters will only be eligible for the age group awards. We do have some equipment for loan, courtesy of NRA Foundation grant $$, especially for juniors. Please ask! Competitors will be classified by their USAS or NRA Intl rating or highest NRA SB Conv. class. All rulings by match director are final.
Awards: Match Winner
1st in each class for Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, Marksman, & Unclassified
2nd in class - if 6 or more shooters in class
Hi Junior in 3 age groups: J1 (born 1984-1986) J2 (1987-1989) J3 (1990 or later)
Hi Senior in two age groups: Sr1 (born 1940-1949) Sr2 (born 1939 or earlier)
(A shooter can only win one award. Order of precedence: Match Winner, Class, age category)
Fee: $15.00
